Week of October 3 - 9, 2016

Highlights:

Spiritual
I started my Wednesday at an early session at the Phoenix Temple. Since it's stake temple week and cub scouts were cancelled, I also attended the last session of the day with Dad on Wednesday. Both were lovely sessions.

I was able to use notes from Fast and Testimony Meeting as well as from General Conference to compose a wonderful letter to my sister at the prison. I am so thankful for the inspiration that comes as I say a prayer before I write. I know without a doubt how very important those sisters are to the Lord and he is mindful of each and every one.

Our Saturday Night stake Conference Meeting was wonderful, and I learned so much as we were taught by our leaders. On Sunday, they took the top part of Glendale North Stake and created the Thunderbird Park stake with President David Anderson, Dave Adams as first counselor, and Brett Edwards (our bishop and home teacher) as second counselor.

I am in Mosiah 28 in the Book of Mormon.

I have indexed 32832 records so far this year.

Family

The Wilkins Family
On Tuesday, the Wilkins family and the Activity Day girls from church painted pumpkins

Looks like such a fun time!!

On Friday, Grace and Josh participated in Volleyball at school and got to go into the portable building.

Adam had a volleyball game on Saturday and had a good time!

Sunday was primary program and Grace gave a talk that was wonderful and she was stopped by many people in the hall to attest to that fact. Josh had two lines that he did very well. The singing was wonderful too, she said, and they enjoyed a lovely booklet from their Primary President and had spiritual movies and popcorn afterwards.

The Ethan Rice Family
We got to talk to Ethan and family during the week. Kaylee facetimed with us on Thursday night, and we talked to them on the phone as they drove past Hurricane Matthew toward DisneyWorld!!

The Doran Rice Family
Amber went with friends to a concert on Tuesday after work and Doran had a great time with the kids! He went fishing with Morgan and friends late Friday night, and we enjoyed sharing stake conference with them on Sunday morning. Kooper and I had a great time walking around the ball field outside, blowing dandelions, picking up rocks and leaves, and blowing feathers.

Morgan
Busy week at Fear Farm for Morgan.

Kayty
Kayty worked lots of overtime this week. She worked long days and tried to get off early to do things with a friend/friends, but people kept cancelling. She was pretty angry! She did have a great work week and found out on Sunday that her singles ward will split next Sunday.

Total Saves: 2 minor/major on Monday and Tuesday,

The Nathan Rice Family
Nathan and Jessica and Miss Annalee had a fine week. The weather is getting cooler and they are enjoying a true Fall. Nathan studied and worked so hard and ended up scoring amazing scores on two Tests: 95 and 100 percent. That was a super effort. He works on Saturday in the shop and stays very very busy.We found out on Sunday that they get to come to Thanksgiving here! Hooray!!!

Work
Dad was full of meetings on Monday. All were back from furloughs, but, being that he has no supervisors and the higher ups are still trying to figure out what to do after the recent firings, they are n't meeting till Friday, so Dad's co employees just met to see who is covering what. Of course, Dad got ALL of one person's suppliers. Nice...not! Tuesday was his health evaluation early in the morning and then straight out to South Chandler for a day full of meetings. This furlough has been very difficult to recover from, especially when they fired people the week before and for dad, it was his leadership. He still has no way to find out what days he had scheduled to use up vacation time. He has to plan for the next furlough, and since I can't travel now, there is an abundance of unused vacation time that will be lost. It is sad because so many very valuable and skilled people are now quitting because they are just plain tired of this. Dad has so many suppliers, and so many meetings that he cannot possibly meet with the suppliers. His week ended, after attending 46 meetings and turning down many more that he had no time to attend, with poor corporate earnings causing the company stock and our savings to plummet nearly ten dollars per share, plus the "kindly" announcement that the company no longer will contribute to our dental care coverage next year. We received a letter with all sorts of bars and graphs, but no real dollars as yet. So, we got no raise, we have lost 3 weeks of pay, will will lose an additional week of pay before the end of the year, no raises for next year, layoff again in January, and even less money when our weekly $50 contribution to our dental insurance goes who knows where. Honeywell is not a good place to work for at all, and people are tired, overloaded and overworked, and very angry.

I spent Monday getting ebay sales ready to mail and composing my mail to the sister at the prison. I also picked limes, helped with the garden, did tons of laundry, helped Kayty separate her cleaned out possessions: Keep, Sell, Toss. I also did my typical dusting, vacuuming, cleaning, scrubbing sinks and stoves, cooking breakfast lunch and dinner, figure out the monthly dinner calendar, going over Microsoft Word lessons, planting carrots for dad, scrubbing tubs and toilets, mopping floors, increasing first aid and years' supply items, and I completed on Microsoft Word training course and kept forging through the Office course.

Dad's Garden
Snow peas are doing well. Dad had to replant turnips and beets, and I replanted his carrot seeds. He also planted spinach and 16 of the 18 collard, cilantro, and Chinese cabbage transplants. Things seem to be doing very well and are enduring our warmer temperatures. He now has 40 garlics emerging and is ready to put poles in the ground to support the snow peas soon.

Dad's Truck
No truck work this week. He did get the starter replaced on his jeep on Friday. We were blessed that when the car wouldn't start on the Home Depot parking lot on Thursday night, we prayed and got one more start to get us home.

Other highlights
I had a great dental checkup this week. I made sure I flossed every single night, and it paid off. Not a single cavity or problem!

Showing my Gratitude: While listening to General Conference, I thought about gratitude and joy, and how intertwined they are. I find that the people that seem to have the greatest challenges seem to tap into the greatest joy and that helps them do amazing things. So, I am recognizing things I am very thankful for every week on the blog.

First, I am so thankful for every single time Heavenly Father tells me something is wrong when I check Kayty at night. The Monday save didn't involve seizures, but she was low and I had to get some soda down her along with the glucose tablets. The Lord always lets me know when things aren't right. I am so thankful! The same thing with Tuesday. When I checked her glucose, it was 230, high, but something wasn't right. I just kept returning to her room. I then checked in another finger and she was low. (Sugar on your finger affects your glucose reading). I am so very grateful for that still small voice whispering.

And I have to share a miracle in progress. All this week, I had wanted to go to Las Vegas to see Grace and Josh in their primary program. We tried to find out what was wrong with my car transmission for a couple of weeks, and the fix they suggested is going to take quite a bit of work. Kayty couldn't go up like we thought she might. I was so sad and even cried a bit. We had a stake Conference adult meeting on Saturday night. We had not been told who the general authorities would  be in attendance ahead of time. As I sat, the Elder Frost shared that he had been chosen by Elder Russell M. Nelson to come to make changes in our stake, as was Elder Pearson from the Quorum of the Seventy. The talks they  shared were so uplifting and as Elder Pearson spoke, he shared that he was President of the Washington, Tacoma Mission. It was at that very moment that I realized that HE was Doran's mission President, and that he had been the one who had talked to me on the phone so many years ago, and who had taken Doran to the airport to fly home. This was absolutely no coincidence that Elder Russell M. Nelson was inspired to sent these brethren to our stake. Dad went and spoke with Elder Pearson right after the meeting was over. He remembered Doran and expressed such love for him. He wanted us to tell him of that love, and to see if he would come to Stake Conference the next day. We called Doran right away, and he wanted to come. They arrived early Sunday, and I noticed from inside the chapel as the priesthood leadership began walking into the room toward the podium, and Elder Pearson leave the rest and walk to the foyer. Dad was in the hallway and saw them in a joyous embrace. It was as if the Lord knew what Doran needed in his life and sent this special servant here to make sure Doran knew how important he was. To me, I was just an instrument to get Doran where He wanted Doran to be. I prayed that we would be guided in all our actions as we participated in this miracle. I walked with Kooper outside during the talks (the building was absolutely packed full and the wards in our building were not even there) so Doran could have one more opportunity to hear the words of the Lords' servant.

What did I learn from this? Number one is that the Lord know what He is doing. Sometimes, the things that are the saddest and hardest for us (like my sadness for the Primary Program) are the sacrifices we make so that the Lord can touch our lives. I don't know if Dad would have known on his own in that talk that this brother was so important in Doran's life. I knew. and Two, we have a Heavenly Father who knows each of us personally, and individually. He knows us by name. He knows our hearts. He knows of our challenges, our trials, our sadnesses, and He is always there for us. Always. No matter what. As I said, I know that we were part of an ongoing process and that the Lord is mindful and has a plan in store so we each can return to Him.

Not so highlights
Just Dad's work challenges. We are watching and praying.

Week of September 26 - October 2, 2016

Highlights:

Spiritual
Dad went to a session at the Ogden, Utah temple on Tuesday night.

I was not looking forward to pack meeting, until I drove into the parking lot. Brother/Sergeant Romney with the Maricopa County Sheriff's department was a special guest, and he talked to the boys, and along with two deputies, took the kids and anyone else through the sheriff's department booking vehicle. It's like a holding unit at a crime scene. It was awesome! Too bad my phone wasn't with me!

We enjoyed sessions of General Conference on Saturday and Sunday. We watched both morning and afternoon sessions on Saturday and Sunday, and Dad went down to church on his own for Priesthood Session. I took many notes so I can share messages I feel inspired to with the sister I correspond with at the prison. All the sessions were wonderful and I have a  list of things to personally work on for the next six months.

I read the entire October Ensign Magazine, and I am in Mosiah 19 in the Book of Mormon.

I have indexed 31970 records so far this year. I have been including many marriage records in my indexing which take a longer time, but they are a wealth of information for those seeking.

Family

The Wilkins Family
Josh had his first tball game this week and had a great time!

Josh  is #15. He got a couple of grounders and got someone out at first base!

He hit a ground ball and slid into first base - he loves to slide!
Adam had a volleyball game on Saturday, and then there was a party that Grace got to attend as well.

The Ethan Rice Family
Cameo and Kaylee had a big rain while they were getting ready for bed on Tuesday. Cameo had a busy day at work that day, and was exhausted. On Thursday, I received a call and was able to FaceTime with them. I had mailed back the last stuff of Kaylee's at my house, plus some cute little baby boys stuff for baby Wade. Kaylee then took me on a tour of her bedroom, the staircase, the family room, the kitchen, the ceiling, and the front of the couch ;). She and I ended up talking for quite awhile, which was a lot of fun. She even gave me a quick call before she fell asleep. I told her she was free to call anytime.

Cameo and baby Wade are doing well. She had her 30 week appointment. Wade still is in a good Head Down position so the VBAC is possible. She still was asked to schedule a c-section at 39 week date. So many things have to be just right for the VBAC to occur and they want all bases covered.

Saturday was a fun day for this family, as they attended the Atlanta State Fair. Kaylee looked like she had a ball feeding butterflies, getting up close to a giraffe, riding rides, sliding on a huge slide, and enjoying jacket weather!!

The Doran Rice Family
Doran and Dad went squirrel hunting on Friday and Saturday.

I do believe that they brought me back a pic of lovely Arizona Fall leaves. Hey, folks, this is as good as it gets here!

Dad make Kung Pao Elk
When they got back, Dad fried up some squirrel for lunch.

Amber had a busy work week plus pet adoption events on Saturday. The kids are well and spent some time on Saturday playing with Granny Dorrie.

Morgan
Morgan and Christy are well, and he is busy working for Fear Farm this time of year. Now that we are having some cooler days, I am sure he will be very busy.

Kayty
Kayty worked lots of overtime this week. She has caught many mistakes and that makes her very valuable all over. She is working on different kinds of forms that need verifying and checking. Those shelves I found for 5 bucks last week are quickly filling with shoes. She still makes necklaces and likes watching late night hulu. Luke has been escaping from the back yard, and we are concerned but his whining drives us nuts when he is indoors.

Total saves this week: major   minor-2
It has not been going well with her. She just doesn't want to test her glucose and I have struggled all week. I got less than five hours each night, while being up four of five times checking on her. I just keep praying for some solution. If she would just check before she goes to sleep...

The Nathan Rice Family
Nathan had a very productive week. He has made many contacts and sent resumes for possible internships, in Idaho, in Utah, and in Phoenix. He is doing well in his CNC machining class, multivariable calculus, and all others. Poor Annalee contracted Hand, Foot and Mouth disease but seemed very happy when we FaceTimed on Saturday afternoon. Jessica is very busy working and keeping up with a very busy church calling.

And on Sunday, October 2, 2016...
Annalee took her first steps!! She walked from Daddy to Mommy...for yogurt and cheerios!! Hooray!!!

Work
Dad started his week flying to Utah for meetings.

Lunch with our dear friend Jeff Smith

My work week included chicken care and feeding, collecting key limes, laundry, vacuuming, dusting, scrubbing toilets, cleaning mirrors, getting some clothing from my side of the closet for Deseret Industries, studying Microsoft Word, taking care of dad's garden, scrubbing bathrooms, paying bills, hauling down trashcans, bringing back trashcans, weeding, scrubbing floors, and other fun stuff!

I also got the house ready for Halloween! (And scored over 20,000 steps on my Fitbit walking back and forth from my hut!)

Dad's Garden
We are keeping Dad's garden surviving with some warmer days. Snow peas are coming up, as are carrots and some garlic. Lettuce has survive. Animals have snatched his beets and turnips as soon as they come up.

Dad's Truck
No truck work

Other highlights
While going out to put stuff in the compost bin and collect limes, I was greeted on Wednesday morning with this
Lots of clouds all week, and a few spurts of rain, even on Sunday as we were watching General Conference.

Jeff Huesing's funeral was a wonderful experience. He had truly changed his life for the better a few years ago, and spent the rest of his life Cheering for the Chicago Cubs and doing good for everyone he met.

Not so highlights
I received this late Thursday night:

Dear PIAB,

It's with deep regret that I have to give you this news. The Fiesta Bowl Parade Committee finally notified me that the PIAB was not selected to participate in this year's Fiesta Bowl Parade. I'm also extremely disappointed that we were notified through an email considering our long history, support and entertainment we gave to the Fiesta Bowl Parade. Here is the their response to our application.
___________________________________________________
Good Morning,

Thank you for applying for the 46th Annual National Bank of Arizona Parade, we appreciate your interest in participating in this year’s event!

Each year we receive an overwhelming number of excellent applications, making the selection process difficult. We were truly impressed with your organization and what it represents, but, unfortunately, your application was not selected to participate this year.

We greatly appreciate your interest and hope you will apply again next year!

Thank you for your time and if you have any questions feel free to reach out.

Sincerely,

Fiesta Bowl Parade Committee
_________________________________________________

It is very obvious with the experience I had last year and now this, that the PIAB is no longer considered a part of the Fiesta Bowl Parade's spirit to showcase nationally the great people and communities of Arizona. Especially as we have seen over the years the scope of the parade diminish and their constant call for groups to participate.

I don't know what the future of the PIAB will at this moment but I certainly want to thank all of you for your support, smiles, music and most importantly, the memories we created throughout our history. I know I have tons great memories as I helped John Thrasher put this group together, marching in the parades next to you and as director. Thank you for sticking it out with me. I know it hasn't been easy but I hope you had fun along the way because I certainly did.

Please feel free to post past pictures and memories here. This is your Facebook page. Let's keep the lines of communication open for who knows what the future holds for the PIay It Again Band.

Take care,

Albert Grijalva

II guess that means it's over. Kinda sad...

Luke the Cat has made my salad bowl his new sleeping quarters...gross!

Week of September 19 - September 25, 2016

Highlights:

Spiritual
I began my Wednesday at my favorite 6 am Phoenix Temple session, and was joined by my fellow cub leader, Angie, the missionaries serving in our ward, the ward mission leader and his wife (also one of my visiting teachers) and our Sunday School president (his wife is my other visiting teacher). Totally unplanned but so very nice. Dad ended his Wednesday at the temple.

Church callings are keeping us busy! Dad taught the high priest quorum lesson last Sunday. I am now preparing my first letter for the prison inmate visiting teaching program. My cub scouts went crazy, but better than last week. We have been cramming to get these last few required activities done for two boys who will leave our den soon and that has made things absolutely unpleasant! No time except for rushing! I also wrote my first letter to the sister I get to letter visit at the prison. My instructions were to take notes at all church meetings, as well as throughout the week, and note spiritual experiences and promptings. I did watch the Women's General Conference Broadcast at home on the computer (I usually watch at home alone, since most attending at our building attend with their daughters, sisters, and families). It was such a wonderful session, and there was not one talk that I didn't learn so much from. Alas, I could not keep up taking notes, so I am looking forward to the published talks on LDS.org on the internet. Anyway, the Spirit touched me so much as all the sisters in the church sang the closing hymn, "I Know That My Redeemer Lives" and I felt so prompted to write to that sister and share my feelings and the words to the song. I typed it, followed the instructions as to addressing the envelope, and dad and I delivered it to the post office after church today. We had wonderful meetings at church today, and I am full of notes for my next letter. I am to write at least two times per month, and after today, that will not be a problem.

Dad nearly completed his home teaching visits on Sunday. With Dad in Utah next week, and my pack meeting, our home teachers cannot meet with us, so we just chatted at church today.

I am in Mosiah 15 in the Book of Mormon.

I have indexed 31.019 records so far this year. I had been indexing ships' logs for months, and that project was completed, so now I am indexing Oregon Marriage Records, which take much more time to do. I was indexing records from 1872-74. The marriage license is merely a handwritten paragraph at the top of a page, and the marriage record is handwritten at the bottom of the page. People had terrible handwriting then!!! Each record takes about 20 minutes, and I was accustomed to doing 10 records in a morning. It is taking a LOT more time!! But there is so much information made available for others!!

Family

The Wilkins Family
Allison gave me an update on Monday:
I guess I don't have Dad's green thumb after all... ALL of our pumpkin plants died! They were looking a little limp and we read about how pumpkins need lots of nitrogen, so Mike fertilized them and the next morning they were all dead! The kids keep praying that they will be okay, but I think they are gone for good.

I asked about how they are doing with fixing up the house...
The fence behind the pumpkins was always there, but we painted one wall dark blue (an accent wall), installed a ceiling fan in the living room, demolished the fireplace mantle and re-installed dry wall around the fireplace (we want to do faux stone on it when we save up enough for it and borrow a tile saw), spray painted the mirror above the piano brushed nickel, found a rad chandelier at D.I. and spray painted pink for Grace's room (Mike cut a hole in the ceiling to install it, crawled in the attic and then realized how miserable it was, so we're waiting until it cools down a little) and found blue curtains for Grace's room at an online yard sale (just need to get a curtain rod). I wish we had put a ceiling fan in the living room years ago... our electric bill went way down and it was so nice this summer! I have some light blue paint samples painted on one wall, but we're going to have to wait to paint it until we finish the fireplace, fix the rounded corners that are dented/chipped and fix the baseboards that were poorly done.

I may start working every night at the temple starting in January. It would be hard but if we saved all of the money I made, we're hoping to buy a minivan before school starts NEXT year. It's horrible to not fit all in the same vehicle... we can't do anything as a family and it would be nice to have 2 vehicles for when Adam's in seminary and the younger kids are at a different school.

Adam is doing volleyball at school, Grace is doing ballet at the rec center and Josh is doing t-ball at school. He (josh)  LOVES first grade and I am so, so happy! Adam is having a challenging year... I don't think they could find any middle school teachers to hire and the ones they found are worthless! I'm having him do math, history and reading at home with me every night, so he pretty much goes to school to hang out with his friends. Grace loves school and we're thinking of trying to get her into a performance arts magnet school for next year because she LOVES to sing and act. Sam is doing great! All potty trained and talking up a storm. No sentences yet but lots of words. We are doing a little preschool at home together, just colors for now and story time at the library once a week.

The Ethan Rice Family
Ethan, Cameo and Kaylee met during a breaks for dinner at Pollo Tropical and El Agave Mexican Restaurant.

On Wednesday night, Cameo and Kaylee had been out...and were greeted by a new "friend"

You KNOW how I feel about snakes!! This apparently, according to many comments, is a copperhead, and one not to be friendly with!

All snakes must die!

They enjoyed the first day of Fall on Thursday.

I finally got to chat with Kaylee on Thursday night. She was just full of information and it was wonderful to talk to her!!

This family had a great Saturday adventure at Sky Zone on Saturday.

Hey, were are socks for baby Wade??

The Doran Rice Family
Doran and Amber and family had a great week, and ended it on a camping trip with their ward. They camped a few miles north of Payson. Amber said they had prepared for 50 degree nights, but were surprised with 30 degree nights! They had an awesome time.

We remembered Charles on Sunday.

Morgan
No news from Morgan and Christy this week.

Kayty
Kayty had her first day off in a long time on Monday. She slept late, and then made jewelry, entertained Luke and watched The Seventh Son and scared me to death with Jurassic World. Who would have ever believed that at the end of that movie, I would be cheering on a velociraptor named Blue! Work went well and she had overtime hours as well. She made en epic find at work the six others had missed (her job is to proofread for errors in medical forms and submissions)! Woot woot! Other than that, she loves her jewelry making. Most other things make her feel down, but she is attending church every week, and family home evening occasionally. There were some folks attending the Bachelor/Bachelorette viewings that had made some not so polite comments toward her, so she decided to give that up.

Total saves this week: 1 mild one that could have been major. Thank goodness I check all the time, and the Spirit lets me know when things are off.

The Nathan Rice Family
Nathan successfully programmed and created a chess pawn for his machining class. He seems to be enjoying all his classes and his work as well. I got to Facetime with Annalee three times this week. Nathan enjoys his NC machining classes and his core class on Pakistan. There is so much to learn about history! He got some bike parts in the mail...hydraulic brakes with no wires inside.Jessica is busy working, caring for Annalee, and in her church calling in the Relief Society presidency.

Work
Dad had Honeywell Furlough Week, so on Monday, he worked as a substitute teacher in a third grade class at Sunset Vista Elementary school.
He really enjoyed his day! He subbed in another school third grade on Thursday, and for a P.E. coach at another school on Friday.

My work this week included laundry, dusting, vacuuming, picking up limes, doing the morning chicken duties, pulling weeds and spurge from the lawn, trash duties, cleaning out old magazines and catalogs, scrubbing bathrooms, cleaning out closets, and hauling stuff for dad in the yard. I also had some amazing jogs this week with some cooler weather to enjoy. Much time is also spent preparing for cub meetings.

Dad's Garden
Lots of garden work done this week. On days dad was not teaching, he was preparing the fall garden. Digging, compost and ground eggshell and nutrient additions worked into the soil,

This week, we pulled down the old wood support system, since no tomatoes are going here this year. He planted: snow peas, beets, turnips, carrots, garlic, cabbage, chard, and romaine. (All YUCK except for the carrots and romaine.) We had to move my 'sand tent' to cover the lettuce on Sunday, since they were not happy about the sunshine.

Dad's Truck
No truck work this week.

Year of the House
Well, the year of the house, which was really 10 months of the house, is drawing to a close.
Accomplished:
Wade and Dad repaired front porch ceiling and I repainted. Dad replaced the termite damaged wood around the front door and I repainted.
Mom painted living room, including all shelves, and put tile in shelves so books would no longer scratch up the paint.
Mom painted entryway and changed frames via repaint or yard sale to black.
Mom painted kids' bath, which included Dad and Wade repairing ceiling, and me covering every stinking little hole from every bug and snowflake hung in that bathroom for the last years. No more bugs or snowflakes for this girl! Dad also repaired the floor grout and replaced the missing grout.
All new hung and painted white doors throughout the entire house (not for kayty yet.)
Master bedroom and bathroom ceilings repaired by dad and wade, and repainted by me.

We will have the months of the house in January through March 2017. We will get the cabinet completed for over the stove and install an exhaust pipe. We will also replace missing insulation throughout attic and especially on the upper living room walls. We will tear out the master bathtub and tile and replace with a shower and new travertine on floor and walls and in shower. I will have the playroom emptied by then and we will put slate flooring in and make the playroom a bedroom with creative toys and books.

Other highlights
Dad had to return keys to the first school that he had accidentally kept in his pocket, so he brought my car full of D. I. stuff with him, and donated all of it! He also brought home a pumpkin for me on Wednesday. It's beautiful!!

Thursday brought us surprise rain! (We also got a little on Tuesday night while we were asleep.) I mean it...the weather guy says a hurricane is coming, and we get not a drop of rain. Then, he says it will just be humid but no rain, and we get rain!

Not so highlights
I am still all bruise on my arm from the blood test last week. Now it's also sore! I had a hard time sleeping on Wednesday night. My bloodwork and tests came back fine, except my A1C was 5.8 and now I am officially pre diabetic. Love my genes!! I am cutting more carbs now.

On Sunday, we found out that Jeff Huesing passed away...over a week ago. When we were first called as ward missionaries, we visited Jeff with the missionaries. Jeff always sat with us in church. Dad baptized Jeff. He was Jeff's escort when he received his Endowment in the Mesa Temple and we both were there. We kept in touch after the ward realigned years ago, and he recently was the priesthood holder at church when his ward had cub scouts, and he would make sure our room had the a/c on before I got there. He was older and had never married nor had children. He was a good person and delighted in the restored Gospel and being part of the church. We will attend his funeral next week on Thursday evening.
