Week of Septemer 18 - 24, 2022

Spiritual
We had a good Sacrament Meeting. Primary class was a bit crazy but that happens often. Dad spoke in another ward Sacrament Meeting and was satisfied with what he shared.

We were able to attend the temple this week. I attended an endowment session on Tuesday and Dad attended an endowment session Wednesday as he traveled for work in Newport Beach California.

My daily morning foundation of General Conference talk(s), prayer, scripture study and Come Follow Me study continues each day.

I have indexed 36,838 records and reviewed 71,713 records so far this year.

I still remember walking out on Christmas Morning and seeing these two sets of baby doll beds; one for me and one for Sharynn. I loved it!!

Other highlights
Dad traveled to California for work this week. He was able to attend the temple in Newport Beach and did well at the supplier he visited.

I removed all the remaining old floor trim in the living room and got the new trim almost all installed. I will caulk and fill and repaint after Christmas but it's good to have all of it done. I even used the miter saw without cutting off any fingers.

Sharynn kindly scanned these slides and uploaded them to a site. They were in no particular order then and I will do my best to try and assess the approximate years.

Picnic at Woods Canyon Lake. I remember that ice chest. It was metal and stood up like a refrigerator with a spigot for water.

Hunting easter eggs in the Tuckey Lane back yard.

Easter 1967 at the Tuckey Lane House

Easter 1965

This was at a place we affectionately called The Pond. It actually is Lower Lake Pleasant. We would came and picnic and catch bluegills. My nano, Irma Zelia Pratt Wolf Leiber is here too.
