Week of February 20 - 26, 2022

Spiritual
It was wonderful to see so many happy faces at church now that no masks are required at church. Such a joy. And I could understand the primary children speak! My class was a fiasco. So many things turned into distractions and one of the visitors could not eat the treat I brought that was part of the lesson.

Dad was able to get an appointment to attend the temple on Thursday night.

My daily morning foundation of General Conference talk(s), prayer, scripture study and Come Follow Me study continues each day.

I have indexed 6936 records and reviewed 15068 records so far this year.

Family

The Wilkins Family
The Wilkins Family is doing well. Allison is solely at her new job at the school. The rest of the family continues school and work.

The Ethan Rice Family
Ethan, Cameo, Kaylee and Wade spent part of their week off camping. They had a wonderful time.
They returned to work and ball practices.

The Doran Rice Family
Doran and Amber are well. Amber began her new position at work and got her new work vehicle. She is enjoying the challenge. Kelsie is back with them and Kooper is enjoying life. Amber and Doran are struggling a bit with back problems right now but are doing fine.

Morgan
Morgan is busy working and came by this week to help finish the roof trim work. He and Cassie headed up north to enjoy the last snow of the season and had a good time.

Kayty
Kayty worked this week after a Monday holiday and is doing well. Here are some more pics from her zoo trip last weekend.

The Nathan Rice Family
Nathan and Jessica had a good week and the girls are thriving. Nathan decided not to pursue the wood slab endeavor and is now cleaning out all the extra wood slabs and selling it and the equipment. They helped us unload the trailer on Saturday and the girls were able to play.

Dad's Garden
Dad is picking turnips now and we got a few nice carrots. Oregano is plentiful and we have some roma tomatoes turning color. Citrus is still plentiful.

Other highlights
We had a rainy Wednesday and a cold Thursday and Friday which meant the final two fires in the fireplace this year. Loved the rain and not having to dust on Friday!

One perk of that cold and rain was seeing Four Peaks in the distance, covered in snow. I had thought I wouldn't get to see it snowy this year, but I was not disappointed!

Week of February 13 - 19- 2022

Spiritual

Sunday was very good. Dad attended both our Sacrament Meeting as well as a Ward Conference Sacrament Meeting in another ward. We heard from another new family that moved into our ward at the end of last year. They moved from Florida and I had one son in my primary class last year and another son in my class this year.

We were unable to get appointments to attend the temple this week.

My daily morning foundation of General Conference talk(s), prayer, scripture study and Come Follow Me study continues each day.

I have indexed 5848 records and reviewed 12,664 records so far this year.

Family

The Wilkins Family
This family is busy and doing well. Allison continues to finish up at her temple job while at the same time working at her new school job. Mike is well and the kids are busy and thriving.

The Ethan Rice Family
Here are pics from their campout last weekend. They had a wonderful time!!

They all enjoyed Valentine's Day.

On a sad note, their sweet pet hamster passed away.

Ethan traveled to Allentown again this week and Cameo kept up with all the things including her job, getting kids to and from school and baseball practice, and dressing up Wade for a Colorful school day. He was the winner!

The Doran Rice Family
Doran and Amber continue to be very busy at work. Kooper is doing well at school and enjoying time playing with friends. He was excited to be able to hold Eve for the first time.

Morgan
Morgan is doing well and working.

Kayty
Kayty had a good work week with even some overtime hours. She spent Saturday at her favorite Zoo seeing her favorite hyenas.

The Nathan Rice Family
Nathan, Jessica and the girls had a good week filled with school, work, doctors' appointments and preparing for a yard sale on the weekend.

Dad's Garden
Peas are starting to go to seed so we will only have a few more meals out of them. Oregano is plentiful. Dad picked more peppers to freeze dry. Citrus is still doing well.

Other highlights
Dad got a lot more repairing of the house trim completed this week. He then paints it after the caulk is dry.

I used my nail gun given to me by Amber and Doran almost a year ago and finally put in some new floor trim as a test to replace the termite-eaten molding. Yes, this is the beginning of a long project but I now know how to do it.
