Week of February 6 - 12, 2022

Spiritual
Sunday was very good. We had a lovely Fast and Testimony Meeting with many inspired testimonies shared. My class went well as we talked about Noah and the Ark.

We were unable to get appointments to attend the temple this week.

My daily morning foundation of General Conference talk(s), prayer, scripture study and Come Follow Me study continues each day.

I have indexed 4864 records and reviewed 11,018 records so far this year.

Family

The Wilkins Family
The Wilkins family had another good and busy week. Josh completed his science project presentation and shared it with us on Marco Polo. Great work, Josh...and great support from family with very cold feet!!

The Ethan Rice Family
Good week for Ethan, Cameo and the kids. Kaylee started to play baseball this week. She was ready for her very first practice in the first sport she has participated in.

The Doran Rice Family
Doran, Amber, Kelsie and Kooper are experiencing the ups and downs of life. Doran is enjoying his added work responsiblities. Amber earned a promotion which will lead to supervisory responsibility and a work vehicle to travel in. She continues to do well in her BYU Idaho Pathways courses. They were here on Saturday for a visit.

Morgan
Morgan had a busy week.

Kayty
Kayty had a good work week back to regular hours. Nathan made her a lovely and very tasty birthday cake.

She continues to clean and organize her room.

Two minor lows this week.

The Nathan Rice Family
This was a busy week for this family. Doctors appointments went well. Annie enjoyed a special ice cream and valentine activity on Wednesday and then had a great Valentine's Party at school on Friday. While the big girls went shopping with mom, I got to play with Eve.

The girls played here for a bit on Saturday while Nathan and Jessica headed to Costco to taste some Super Bowl snacks.

Dad's Garden
Garden continues to be tasty, both to humans and to creatures, which is often a trouble. Dad picked a cabbage, oregano, peppers, peas, carrots and lots of citrus.

I appear here to be much older, yet we still lived at the house at 4130 West Tuckey Lane in Phoenix till I was eight, so it was a few years before we moved.

I believe this was our dog, Penny

Other highlights
The highlight is that it is over. Root Canal. It was a great endodontist. There was one of the roots that was sensitive when he cleaned out that particular root of the three or four. I was able to go from the endodontist across the walkway to the dentist and wait for the 40 minutes till he could squeeze me in and fill the tooth permanently. And by the next morning absolutely no pain. And that is what matters.

We found out Wednesday that Aunt Betty Rice Wetzel had died. She was the final sibling of Grampa Rice. I'm so grateful we went to her 90th birthday party a few years ago. She was able to be in her own home with nurses attending to her until she passed. We will attend the viewing next Tuesday.

Dad has been working on painting the house trim and filling in the cracks after work every day. Morgan helped some when he was not working. It is looking really nice.
