Week of January 30 - February 5, 2022

Spiritual
We had a good Sunday. Our new bishop conducted and a new relief society president was called. A new family spoke in Sacrament Meeting and they shared wonderful testimonies. Primary class was small and went well.

Dad was able to attend the temple on Wednesday night.

My daily morning foundation of General Conference talk(s), prayer, scripture study and Come Follow Me study continues each day.

I have indexed 3938 records and reviewed 9363 records so far this year.

Family

The Wilkins Family
It's been a busy few weeks. Allison has had to get her Master's Degree Applications submitted plus she is volunteering to work with the CASA program. She is also starting to work at the school as a cashier just to get her foot in the door to working with kids and working up in the system. However, for two weeks she will need to work both jobs! One busy lady!!! Adam is doing well and getting used to the ups and downs of car ownership. Grace was relieved those wisdom teeth can stay in another year. Josh finished his science project and all are rejoicing. He has been working on this since the beginning of the school year and he only has to complete his display. Sam is looking forward to attending his first activity days this week. Sam also showed me a cool volcano he made. He made the whole thing and painted it red and it is amazing!!

The Ethan Rice Family
Another busy work and school week for Ethan, Cameo and the kids. Kaylee received an award at school this week. So proud of her!!

Wade caught a cold from school and spent a few nights not feeling well.

The Doran Rice Family
Doran, Amber and family took the opportunity to work remote and get away, camping and fishing along the Verde River. It was very very cold but they had a great time.

Morgan
We saw Morgan this week as he was here working on sanding, filling and painting the eaves on our house.

Kayty
Happy Birthday, Kayty on Thursday. She spent the days off work sleeping and shopping.

The Nathan Rice Family
This was another sick week for Nathan and Jessica. Taking care of a baby all night and kids/working all day give little time for rest. They are trudging along. We did see them briefly on Saturday and they were looking so much better! Jessica and Eve stayed at her parents house and Lorrie was a back up to care for Eve during the night while Nathan slept at home.

Dad's Garden
I picked basil, lots of lettuce and some spinach this week. We still have plenty of citrus looking great.

Family History
More slides from Nano's collection:

Every time we visited my Aunt Muriel Kew, who lived in Arcadia, California near Pasadena, we went to the Arboretum. Every time. So I assume this is where we are at this time.

Again, my fancy pool.

Easter

Other highlights
I saw this on one of my jogs this week.
I love these people!!

I went to visit mom, pick up her tree and get Elizabeth her new check. The house is much quieter now with the other two ladies gone, but mom is the boss of the seats, the television, and everything. She didn't know who I was, but seemed happy for the visitor.
