Spiritual
Sunday was nice. We had a good Fast and Testimony Meeting. Dad taught my primary class for the other teacher and it went pretty well. No visitors and the rest of the day was quiet.
Dad was able to attend the temple this week on Wednesday night.
My daily morning foundation of General Conference talk(s), prayer, scripture study and Come Follow Me study continues each day.
I have indexed 35,916 records and reviewed 69,942 records so far this year. Indexing continues to be a challenge with fewer and fewer records available to
Family
The Wilkins Family
The Wilkins Family is busy as ever. They sure enjoyed their weekend trip to St George and their Peach Festival. Grace's week was full of Homecoming Activities.LVH won their football game on Friday night.
The Ethan Rice Family
The Doran Rice Family
Morgan
Morgan and Cassie are doing well. They are both working and enjoying living amongst the forest and elk.
Kayty
Kayty had a pretty good week, though her new responsibilities reviewing auto insurance is tough.
Two minor saves
The Nathan Rice Family
The week was tough as illness continued to run through the family. Jessica referred to it as The Plague and it was rough. Meanwhile, Nathan is now required to work 46 hours per week, thus having to make up an entire Monday holiday plus any other time not directly working, such as team meetings, etc. Plus his hard drive crashed midweek, setting him further behind. It has been a rough one. They came by Saturday and while Nathan helped Dad pour the footing for his next raised bed garden, I was able to visit with Jessica and play with the girls. They are looking forward to his job interview next week in Arkansas, where Jessica and Eve will accompany him.
Dad's Garden
Dad started seeds late Saturday night indoors to transplant. He also is working on the second raised bed garden box.
Other highlights
Heat continued at the beginning of the week. The pool was crazy warm too so no swimming since it was warmer than a bath.
And then, to end the week, rain! We received moisture from the outer bands of Hurricane Kay and that meant a rainy night. I was blessed that it was just a mild sprinkle when I jogged.
