Week of October 16 - 22, 2022

Spiritual
We were blessed with the opportunity to attend the Primary Program of Anna and Ellie (stake conference for us meant no primary class to teach). The girls had numerous parts and did very well. It was so wonderful to hear them before they leave soon.

We were able to attend the temple this week. I attended an endowment session on Tuesday morning and Dee attended his regular Thursday night session.

My daily morning foundation of General Conference talk(s), prayer, scripture study and Come Follow Me study continues each day.

I have indexed 39,153 records and reviewed 75,421 records so far this year.

Family

The Wilkins Family
The Wilkins Family enjoyed a fun weekend trip to a harvest festival.

It was another busy week with work and school and all the things.

The Ethan Rice Family
Wadey is doing better from his strep illness.  We got another pic from the wedding a few weeks ago.

The Doran Rice Family
Doran and Amber are doing well at work and the kids are enjoying school... as much as kids enjoy school.

Morgan
No news from Morgan this week.

Kayty
Kayty had a good work week and helped a lot with the Bat Bash.

The Nathan Rice Family
Nathan and Jessica worked their tails off all week packing, getting rid of, and cleaning and their house is now on the market with an offer ready to be submitted. The girls spent four hours here one day and spent a few days with Grammy Lorrie. Soccer game went well for Annie and Ellie is ready to be cleared for regular activities soon.

Dad's Garden
We still fight crickets and rats, but many have been eliminated and the garden is growing.

Other highlights
We had our annual Halloween Party on Saturday. It was all about Bats at the Bat Bash!

We ate dad's hot bat wings, bat mac and cheese, mummy dogs, buffalo ranch dip, cheese dip and chips, fruit, apples and caramel dip, celery and carrot sticks. Then we played games and made crafts. Then the bat snack board. The kids had a great time!!
