Spiritual
It was a relatively normal Sunday, though our meeting time and location were changed due to visitors from Salt Lake city that spoke to the other wards in our stake and then had a luncheon for all the young women in the stake.
We were unable to attend the temple this week.
My daily morning foundation of General Conference talk(s), prayer, scripture study and Come Follow Me study continues each day.
I have indexed 55,037 records and reviewed 20,137 records so far this year.
Family
The Wilkins Family
Allison has an interesting project for school where she has to record herself teaching and then there are evaluations and critiques. She also has to be in a weekly zoom meeting with other 4th grade teachers to improve each others skills. She will need to student teach through Dec 23rd and then she will be done with her Master's Degree. Work is also difficult with a very micromanaging boss. Grace is enjoying her job, plus she volunteers at Allison's school and she takes a weekly institute class as well as missionary prep. Grace had some rough dental work this past week. She and Allison are like dad and need multiple novocaine shots to remain pain free. She is recovering but still in pain. She is working this week at a Halloween Festival at work. Josh is participating in a 22 mile walk to the temple to commemorate the pioneers who sacrificed so much to build the Salt Lake Temple. Since its Nevada Day on Friday, the kids are out of school and Mike took off work so he can participate as well. Grace and Allison will also do some temple work on Friday.
The went out to Muapa in Logandale on Friday to an awesome haunted corn maze. They had a great time. They also participated in the school Trunk or Treat.
The Ethan Rice Family
Ethan, Cameo, Kaylee and Wade are doing well and looking forward to all the fun of Halloween. Kaylee has created her own costume and is progressing well.
The Doran Rice Family
Doran, Amber, Kelsie and Kooper are doing well.
Morgan
Kayty
Kayty worked from home this week. She is feeling better and will return to work on site next week.
The Nathan Rice Family
Dad flew out to Arkansas and enjoyed a few days with Nathan, Jessica and the girls. Their new home and property is beautiful and they are doing well.
Lots of hard work in the heat this week by Kayty and I have kept all the remaining hens and the garden surviving.
Other highlights
Dad had good work days on Monday and Tuesday and then set out for his final Papa Adventure for the year on Wednesday to Camden, Arkansas.
Lots and lots of paperwork pertaining to Mom went on this week. The death certificates finally arrived late Friday and Scott picked them up Saturday morning and got them to me so I could get things in the mail.
