What Has Elder Nathan Been Doing in the Missionary Training Center (MTC)

We have been sent regular letters every week, and pictures all come on a mailing of a memory card or two. He is learning and growing, stretching and trying. Lots of hard work. Lots of prayers. Lots of blessings.

I LOVE this! I got to put Doran's on myself. Ethan and Nathan flew there from Phx and were given theirs. The Korean says The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Wow...I can read Korean...

A page of the Book of Mormon in Korean

Missionaries are in class for over ten hours a day. Those not learning another language are at the MTC for three weeks. Those going foreign are there for a longer period, depending on the difficulty of the language

Elder Rice's bunk...look how neat it is!

Elder Rice at the Provo Temple. It is a short walk from the MTC to the temple.

Missionaries are grouped into districts. This is Nathan's district.

I have pictures of all Elder Rices doing this. Nate made his mom happy, both with the picture, and the fact that he didn't knock his teeth out falling!

Elder Hem came from Cambodia to the MTC.

See...he is a fun kid...Guess this was St. Patrick's Day.

It snowed at the MTC and Nate, the crazy Arizona boy who rarely sees snow, received much teasing!

At first, we thought we had light sabers...but notice the thumbs...Yep, these guys have something  that LOOKS like lite sabers.
