I have never tried this before...Thanks to Microsoft Powerpoint...and my obsession with fonts, I came up with this. Not too bad for a first try.
The Latter-day Saints celebrate Pioneer Day every July 24th. In Utah, it is a day off, and they have parades and fireworks. In Phoenix, not so much. There is a Pioneer Day Commemoration Broadcast from Salt Lake City, and we usually have some sort of party at the individual wards. One thing everyone usually does is take a moment to remember the sacrifices of the brave pioneers who left their homes and settled in the West.
My entry display, so far. Nate had carved a spoon from olive wood for Trek four years ago...but I have yet to see where he put that away at. I did grab his coonskin cap...The rock is from the same quarry that the stone for the Salt Lake Temple came from.
