You would have been 81 today. So, I made your favorite meal...or my rendition of it...on the china you selected when you and mom were married. Instead of balls of ground beef: ground chicken meatballs with seasoned breadcrumbs and Tabasco sauce; instead of Cream of Mushroom Soup: homemade mushroom sauce with crimini mushrooms; and instead of Minute Rice: brown rice.
