Week of March 28 - April 3, 2021

Highlights:

Spiritual
We had fast and testimony meeting at church. After, we left to take Jeff and Mardene Smith to the airport in Mesa.

Our day was filled the rest with scripture study and preparation for Easter week ahead.

Temples remain closed for work for the dead.

I continue my morning foundation of General Conference talk, Book of Mormon chapter, Prayer and Come Follow Me study. Before Saturday Morning General Conference, I completed my eighth time listing to Conference talks every day.

We were able to watch the entire morning session and a bit of the afternoon session of General Conference. It filled my heart and soul and look forward to listening and reading for the next six months.

I have indexed 4921 records and reviewed 35355 records so far this year.

Family

The Wilkins Family
It was a week of goodness and trials that became blessings. As Grace and Allison drove to get a treat for the ward sisters, Allison lost a tire. She was blessed it was in a good location, that she could get the tire changed, that kind people nearby brought them cold drinks, and then she had enough money from Income Tax refund to get four new tires for their car. They are also enjoying their new washing machine after years of yearly replacement used ones. Adam and Grace returned to part time in person learning and it went rather well. Adam continues schooling online for the most part and enjoys gaming with some friends in his spare time. Grace did well at school also. Josh continues practicing soccer and schooling. Same had a good week and is really enjoying reading. Next week is Spring Break and each family member has selected a day with a theme for that day and it will include activities around that theme. Allison will complete her tooth repair with her permanent crown this week.

The Ethan Rice Family
Here are some pics from last weekend camping trip.

Ethan spent another week in cold Pennsylvania. It rained at home while he was away, and Wade was very ready.

The Doran Rice Family
I was able to help out on Monday by taking Kelsie to the doctor. She was a great help and Kooper was so good, coloring and playing with stickers while we waited.

The rest of the week was good for this family. Work and school went well.

Morgan
We saw Morgan and Cassie at Grandma's house. They were able to stay for awhile before heading to her dad's house.

Kayty
Kayty had the first three days off work and spent hours and hours creating darling pink and yellow chick cookies and black cat cookies to take to Easter at Grandma's house.

The Nathan Rice Family
Nathan and Jessica had a typically busy week, with laundry, cooking, cleaning and shopping. Nathan spent some off hours perfecting his icing flowers made with a swiss meringue buttercream frosting.

And the finished cake..

Dad's Garden
Cilantro, cabbage, snow peas, tomatoes and oregano were harvested this week. I used them to create the cabbage salad for Easter at grandmas as well as many wonderful meals.

Family History

Pictures from my Dad's military pictures. I wrote the words that he had written on the back of the photos.

Other highlights
Study of American History continues, as well as daily piano practice.
