Week of July 31 - August 6, 2022

Spiritual
We had good meetings at church on Sunday. Our day was filled with quiet study

Dad was able to get an appointment to attend the temple this week on Wednesday.

My daily morning foundation of General Conference talk(s), prayer, scripture study and Come Follow Me study continues each day.

I have indexed 32,986 records and reviewed 65,712 records so far this year.

Family

The Wilkins Family
The family is busy. Grace enjoyed some fun get togethers and swimming with friends.

The Ethan Rice Family
Kaylee and Wade started school this week. Lots of New things: new school, new friends, riding a school bus and new grades. They had a great week and love school.

Ethan spent the rest of the week working in Pennsylvania. We enjoyed a FaceTime Visit on Friday afternoon. Kaylee gave us a tour of her room and the new areas she has set up in it. Wade shared his many lego projects. Ethan is doing well at work and has been given greater responsibilities. Cameo is well.

The Doran Rice Family
Doran and Amber had a busy work week. Struggles still are happening with Kelsie. Kooper loved attending the rock show last week. He started school this week and loves his new teacher because he says she doesn't yell. On Saturday, Kooper was baptized.

Morgan
Morgan and Cassie are preparing to leave town for Flagstaff soon.

Kayty
Kayty had a difficult week with her back pain but managed to work and get things done.

The Nathan Rice Family
We shared Family home evening with this family on Monday. We then got to peel green chilis that Nathan had roasted in his roaster. It was so fun and the work went quickly. Home school is going well and Ellie seemed to enjoy Language Arts more this week.

Dad's Garden
Dad is ready to pour footings for the next raised bed garden. Nathan hopefully can help lift the cement in the mixer during piano lessons next week.

Family History - Nano slides continue

I loved this doll: Baby Kissy. You would put her hands together and she would kiss.

Scott and I got matching stuffed Scotty dogs for Christmas. Scott kept his until it was nearly in shreds.

Other highlights
On Monday, we went to Grandma's for a few minutes to visit with Dad's cousin Bob McFarland and his Aunt Debbie. Then we hurried to Nathan's to share family home evening with their family and peel roasted green chilies that Nathan had roasted on his own grilltop unit.

Tuesday morning finally had no clouds and I could see Orion for the first time since Mid February!

Great rain storms this week have left our yard happy, but left our pool a bit on the green side on Friday.
