Spiritual
We had a very nice Sunday with great meetings at church and a quiet afternoon of study.
We were not able to attend the temple this week.
My daily morning foundation of General Conference talk(s), prayer, scripture study and Come Follow Me study continues each day.
I have indexed 42,457 records and reviewed 79,575 records so far this year.
Family
The Wilkins Family
The Wilkins Family had a good early week, with Allison and the boys being off school and getting caught up on all the classroom duties a teacher has. Grace did have school. Her madrigal choir performed for PBS station to have a song aired later. They rented a car and trekked for Phoenix and family on Wednesday. We enjoyed an evening visit as they arrived. They shared Thanksgiving with the Wilkins family and shared a pizza party with us on Friday. It was lovely to have all of them in town, though we missed Adam terribly.
The Ethan Rice Family
Ethan and Cameo worked at the beginning of the week, and then found a nearby Campground to camp at for their Thanksgiving feast.
The Doran Rice Family
Sickness rocked this house so we missed Amber on Thanksgiving and Pizza Day but we so enjoyed sharing our time with Doran and Kooper. Doran made the most delicious candied sweet potatoes for our meal.
Morgan
We didn't hear from Morgan this week.
Kayty
Kayty made some darling cookies to share at work with her co-workers. She worked through Wednesday and then enjoyed days off Thursday and Friday. She was such a great help with our meals.
The Nathan Rice Family
Nathan and Jessica completed the move out and clean out of their home and moved in with Jessica's mom. The girls are so enjoying their time with many family members near and being able to ride their bikes all over. They had a great Thanksgiving with Jessica's family. Nathan made the best rolls and three pies: blueberry, pumpkin, and walnut. Jessica brined the turkey and then roasted in on Thanksgiving and I hear it was great.
Dad's Garden
We harvested lettuce, chard and basil this week.

Other highlights
I began this week late Saturday night feeling down. First, my co-primary teacher texted me that she would not be in primary for the next two Sundays. (She texted me on the way to church last week that she was sick so Dad taught, and then the week before was a planned being gone.) I really love her but I just felt so down. And after a morning of making gravy, I realized that I am feeding seven people on Thanksgiving. Nathan and Jessica have moved into her mom's house and they will spend the day there with them, and perhaps come by and visit. It's okay and usually they eat some at both places and I know moving is gonna be very very hard on Jessica and her mom, but I just felt pretty rejected. Its okay though. I'm just gonna do what I do every day.
And isnt it wonderful that writing down your feelings and getting some sleep helps you. My mood was a million percent better the next morning. I did everything and made a great meal for Dad, Kayty, Doran, Kooper and I. Everything came out great and the meal was fun, though small. Thanksgiving was wonderful!
And to celebrate family and Wilkins visiting we had a pizza party the next day. So much fun.
The Wilkins got to go see the Mesa Temple Lights before heading home late Friday night. We were so thankful they could come!
Saturday was full of clean up and yard work. Lots and lots of yard work.
