Spiritual
Sunday was Ward Conference and we were able to hear from our bishop and stake president. Primary went well. Dad enjoyed his birthday reading his scriptures, eating his favorites, and talking to family.
My daily morning foundation of General Conference talk(s), prayer, scripture study and Come Follow Me study continues each day.
I have indexed 21,052 records and reviewed 10,813 records so far this year.
Family
The Wilkins Family
The Ethan Rice Family
We spoke with Ethan, Cameo and the kids on Sunday as they sang Happy Birthday to Papa and watched him open his gift from them. Ethan and Cameo celebrated their 18th wedding anniversary on the 22nd.
Kaylee managed to play a softball game this week and had a fun time but ended up coming down with a bug, running a fever and missing school.
The Doran Rice Family
Morgan
Morgan and Cassie are busy working. Living on site was not working out for them, so they are back enjoying the forest and continuing to work in Flagstaff. They are doing well.
Kayty
Kayty had a good work week
The Nathan Rice Family
Dad texted back and forth with Nathan on Sunday as he sent birthday greetings. Their gift arrived during the week and Dad has enjoyed panning and actually getting a few flakes of gold. Their home final inspection went off well, final papers were signed and they began moving in on Friday. Annie was excited to not have to sleep on a cot anymore.
Dad's Garden
Heat is here but the garden seems to be surviving. We were blessed with a surprise rain on Friday night.
Other highlights
Happy Birthday Dad on Sunday! He enjoyed a piece of pineapple pie for breakfast, calls from Ethan, Cameo, Kaylee and Wade, Doran, Amber, Kelsie and Kooper, messages from Nathan, a visit from Grandma, and a nice flashlight and some candy from Kayty. I made his favorite Hot and Sour Soup for his meal. It was a great day!
We repaired the washing machine on Monday and the tool to install the spring arrived on Tuesday, so I was washing clothes by Tuesday night.
Happy 44th Anniversary to us on Wednesday.
