Week of July 28 - August 3, 2024

Spiritual
We had a good Sunday. Church and Primary went well, other than our little special needs classmate had a rough day. Rest of the day was quiet.
Dee attended a session at the temple on Friday afternoon.

My daily morning foundation of General Conference talk(s), prayer, scripture study and Come Follow Me study continues each day.

I have indexed 41,321 records and reviewed 17,840 records so far this year.

Family

The Wilkins Family
Busy week as Allison returned to work. Lots of meetings. However her week ended with a great award for best reading accomplishments for her last years class throughout the state. Hooray Allison!

The Ethan Rice Family
Kaylee and Wade started school this Thursday. They were both very glad to get back to friends.

The Doran Rice Family
Doran and Amber completed their last week at their current jobs. Doran's coworkers made him a cake to celebrate. The weekend has been spent doing the last laundry. Movers come soon and they plan to be on the road to Arkansas and then Tennessee early Wednesday next week.

Morgan
Morgan and Cassie briefly came into town while we slept and picked up their little fishing boat they stored in our front yard. They are doing well.

Kayty
Kayty had a good week at work.

The Nathan Rice Family
Received a FaceTime from Nathan and the girls on Sunday. They finished Harry Potter (the first one) and celebrated with a meal of  Gryffendor Casserole and Pottermelon. Dental and Orthodontic appointments happened this week. Nathan got his car repaired without needing a fuel pump. He continues to work setting gate posts to fence off the front part of their back yard.

Dad's Garden
We gathered horse manure and left over alfalfa and dad is working it into all the garden beds. Planning for fall winter garden is underway.

 Other highlights
I saw Orion for the first time this year on August 2.
