Week of April 24-30, 2022

Spiritual

We were able to get appointments to attend the temple this week.

My daily morning foundation of General Conference talk(s), prayer, scripture study and Come Follow Me study continues each day.

I have indexed 18,520 records and reviewed 37,687 records so far this year.

Family

The Wilkins Family
The Wilkins Family is doing well. Kayty went up for a day trip to Vegas and stopped by to drop off their last stocking gift, some beef jerky, and lots of citrus off our trees. They had such a good visit. Everyone is doing well and busy with work and school.

The Ethan Rice Family
It was a brutal pack-up week for Ethan and Cameo. By Friday night, the storage units were full and all was ready for cleaning. They have done a fantastic job! Kaylee and Wade had a good school week

though they suffered a great loss in their new hamster Panda who died. So they now have Fluffy and Flash 2.0.

The Doran Rice Family
Doran, Amber, and family had a typically busy work and school week.

Morgan
No news from Morgan

Kayty
Kayty had a good work week and spent Friday on a quick to and from trip to Vegas. Rode rides, visited Allison and had a great time.

Four saves this week: two major, two minor

The Nathan Rice Family
Nathan and Jessica continue to work on their backyard. The new watering system install was completed on Saturday and the new lawn comes next week. Nathan continues to work long hours on extra projects for work. The girls played here on Thursday for a little while,

and, to thank Nathan for all the charcoal he made for us out of his old wood, we shared dinner on Saturday. They also brought their new water slide over since their back yard is off limits now.

Dad's Garden
Dad has some very nice tomatoes growing under the lemon tree. We hope the quail leave them alone. Dad also picked a lot of citrus to take to the Wilkins family. He is looking for some bees and contacted a few friends.

Family History
More of Nano's slides

This is our laundry basket. Clothes were hung on the clothes line and then when dry, they were put in this basket and hauled into the house.

Other highlights
Happy Forty Second wedding anniversary on Sunday.

We found out Sunday night that dear Joe Fish, our first bishop and the one that sealed Nathan and Jessica in the Mesa Arizona temple died suddenly on Dad's birthday.

Mom got agitated one day and I was blessed with the words to calm her down. She sometimes dreams a situation and thinks it is reality.
