Week of February 5 - 11, 2023

Spiritual
Sunday was very good. Our Fast and Testimony Meeting was full of wonderful shared testimonies and my primary lesson went well.

We were able to attend the temple this week. I attended an endowment session Tuesday morning and it was wonderful as the presentation has been updated by revelation. Oh how much more clear things were and how I could feel and understand more fully the love of Jesus Christ in my life. Dad attended Tuesday evening. With changes come limited appointments so we are not sure when we will get to go in the near future.

My daily morning foundation of General Conference talk(s), prayer, scripture study and Come Follow Me study continues each day.

I have indexed 1977 records and reviewed 1548 records so far this year.

Family

The Wilkins Family
No news from the Wilkins Family this week.

The Ethan Rice Family
Cameo messaged me that they have had busy times. Wade is now involved in LaCrosse and loves it. Last weekend was filled with friends' birthday parties. The kids continue to struggle with off-and-on illnesses but look forward to warmer weather.

The Doran Rice Family
Doran and Amber had busy work weeks. They spent Saturday hunting through Goodwill Stores and got some wonderful things.

Morgan
Morgan had a difficult week. He called on Wednesday evening and had lost his throwout bearing. A tough week to have no transportation with so many tourists in Arizona for the Super Bowl and The Phoenix Open Golf Tournament. His parts should arrive next week and he hopes for a fast and easy repair.

Kayty
Kayty had a good work week.

1 major save this week.

The Nathan Rice Family
Nathan and Jessica had their power restored on Sunday! Hooray for wonderful linemen!! The girls FaceTimed on Tuesday and shared about their wonderful trip to the Antique Shop on Friday with their homeschool group. They had such a good time.

Dad's Garden
Still getting lettuce, chard, collards, and carrots to eat. Dad's tomatoes mostly survived the freezes. It appears there is another couple of cold days coming next week. More covers out. It has been one of the longest cool Winters we have had in a long time.

Other highlights
Dad and I worked all week and got the block put in for the chicken pen raised bed garden plot. He got it all completed on Saturday morning.

Dad traveled to Huntington Beach this week again. The company he has been visiting has made such great improvements. He was to have to take a late flight home but was very blessed to get the last seat on the earlier flight.
