Week of March 3 - March 9, 2024

Spiritual
We enjoyed a wonderful Sacrament/Fast and Testimony meeting on Sunday. Dad shared a wonderful testimony of the Book of Mormon and his love for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Primary was interesting as always.

My daily morning foundation of General Conference talk(s), prayer, scripture study and Come Follow Me study continues each day.

I have indexed 8608 records and reviewed 6449 records so far this year.

Family

The Wilkins Family
This week was Sam's production of "Annie" at school. Grace shared he did great!! Allison shared that they were rather surprised when shy Sam decided early in the school year to be a part of this musical. He went to many practices and the show was a huge success!!

The Ethan Rice Family
We got a visit from Ethan and Wade as they came to borrow a gas can so they could do some yard work for Liz. The kids came later and ended up swimming! So cold but they had a blast. Ethan got Cameo and their things later and we shared Chinese Food a la Dad and they settled in to sleep here for a few days. We ended up enjoying quite a bit of time with the kids, playing games, catch, and those kids swam and swam. Wade's services were beautiful, honoring a wonderful friend. They ended up being very wet! Rain and cold. Morgan and Cassie came down from Flagstaff to attend. Later, they returned home due to probable snowy weather and Doran, Amber and the kids came for barbeque and swimming (it was rainy and in the 50s outside!) They headed back on Friday and Saturday.

The Doran Rice Family
Doran, Amber, Kelsie and Kooper are doing well and, though struggling through colds, are able to work and got to school. We had a last minute barbeque on Thursday and they came and ate burgers and ribs.

Morgan
Morgan and Cassie are doing well at work and in living in Flagstaff. Shopping etc is nearby and they are looking forward to a cool summer. They attended Wades funeral but the weather led them to return home before the barbeque.

Kayty
Kayty had a good work week. Good review for the year also.

The Nathan Rice Family
Nathan had a good week at work. His project is progressing and he had time to go catfishing on Friday evening. Jessica had a busy week taking care of sick girls. Influenza and Pink eye are the culprits now. I did facetime with the girls on Friday and they seem to be feeling better. Ellie got to have a special day with Daddy on Saturday, running errands, helping out a ward member, playing with some friends and getting a Lunchable.

Dad's Garden
Rain this week is always helpful to our garden. Kaylee and Wade picked carrots and peas for chinese and lots of fruit to take back home with them.

Other highlights
Our microwave oven just stopped working on Monday morning. So we went and got one similar at Lowes after work. Ethan helped install in later on Tuesday and it works great!

Dryer stopped working on Friday! Dad looked at youtube and is repairing it now. We spent most of Saturday replacing all the parts that came in the mail and getting it back together. It works and we were very blessed.
