Spiritual
Sunday was good. We had a good Sacrament Meeting with two youth speak and a wonderful musical presentation by all our youth. I had no choir so I worked on studying Come Follow Me Lesson.
Choir practice was canceled, so I was able to spend more time reading than I usually get to.
On Tuesday, Dad attended sessions at the Salt Lake City and Ogden Temples. He also performed sealing ordinances in the Salt Lake Temple.
Scouts went well this week. Our planning ahead and night full of activities was a hit. We were tired but happy at the end.
I completed reading all the General Conference talks, continue to read the Book of Mormon every day, and listen to a General Conferenced talk each morning.
So far this year, I have indexed 9288 records and reviewed 17,981 records.

Family
The Wilkins Family
Mike sent us this pic early Sunday morning.
We received a MarcoPolo message from Josh and Allison. He was still in a lot of pain and not keeping food down, so he remained hospitalized Sunday night as well. Dad and I sat that evening as we headed to bed and reflected on the great blessing that Joshua is doing so well. That fall could have had a far worse outcome. What true blessings we have received in having Joshua alive and improving.
Early Wednesday, Allison wrote
"After a last final game of air hockey on Monday evening,
Josh was discharged from the hospital. He is in pain and tired, but we are happy to be out of there.

The next three months will be tough. The doctor said he is in for a lot of headaches, tiredness and occasional memory loss. He has to be super careful. Another hit to the back of the head could mean a severe fracture and surgery, so no contact sports, no PE and he has to be strict about wearing a helmet. Which means that soccer season is over. He is most sad about that. I told him he could be on the swim team instead. 😁
But, I'm so thankful that he is back to his sarcastic, sweet self and that we are all home together."
On Friday and Saturday, the culmination of lots of work for Grace, and lots of trips to keep brothers occupied during rehearsals for Allison, the school performance of "School House Rock Live" happened.
Allison shared, "
After 9 months of hard work and rehearsals, Grace performed in her school musical this weekend (1 show yesterday, 2 today). She played a "storyteller" in School House Rock Live Jr. The cast did a great job, and we enjoyed watching it tonight as a family. " What a special week for this family. Lots of miracles. Lots of blessings.
The Ethan Rice Family
Morgan
Morgan, Aimee and Emileigh are doing well.
Kayty
Kayty had a good week. Her hair is finally Atomic Pink.
On Wednesday night, she went to a vocal practice. Her Glendale Community College choir director, Dr. Kreigel, is leaving the school and all alumni choir members are performing at his last concert at the school. She liked singing, but none of her former classmates were there, so she might not attend the performance. Thursday was a Star Wars/Cinco de Mayo celebration at work.

The Nathan Rice Family
Sunday was their last in our ward and they enjoyed their final time teaching their primary class. Nathan sold his truck on Saturday, and the buyers picked it up on Sunday.
Monday was filled with computer and phone work for Jessica as she worked out inspection, loan, and homeowners insurance information. Weather was nice so we could play outdoors.

Thursday was spent with Grammy Lorrie having fun and even getting a nap there. The rest of the week included a trip to get a new to them desk from a seller, swimming and playing. Nathan is learning tree grafting and is busy trying to get new citrus trees from cuttings. Jessica is doing well and is waiting for the arrival of Caroline.
Dad's Garden
Got a few tomatoes but the plants look awful. We must have some disease that just wont let them grow. The start out lovely, but wither and die once the fruit is setting. Disappointing, but things do happen. I did get some old snow pea vines pulled out, until in nearly killed me...I am allergic to something no matter if its dusty or has just rained.
Other highlights
I went to the dentist on Monday for cleaning and don't need to return till November 4th.
