Week of May 5 - 11, 2019

Highlights:

Spiritual
We had good Sunday meetings. Suzzy had a busy day with Cub Committee Meeting and choir practice.

Dad attended a session at the Salt Lake Temple on Wednesday.

I had a good scout meeting on Wednesday evening.

I continue reading the Book of Mormon, and I completed listening to all sessions of General Conference for the first time on Thursday.

I have indexed  records and reviewed  records so far this year.

Family

The Wilkins Family
I spoke with Grace via Marco Polo on Monday and she said she had a wonderful time in her performance. I surely bet she misses all the rehearsals! Adam had a piano recital/concert on Tuesday evening.

Grace was inducted into Junior National Honor Society on Wednesday evening. Hurray!!

The Ethan Rice Family
Cameo shared more wonderful pictures from Easter.

The Doran Rice Family
Doran and Amber had a busy week getting their home ready to sell. They painted and got a great deal on someone to come and grout the tile Doran had put in and he did a fantastic job.

Morgan
Morgan and Aimee added grow boxes to their property and now have a garden started.

Kayty
Work went well this week. She gets to have a jeans week next week, which she is looking forward to.

Two major saves this week. I was very blessed to be there when she started into seizures, because she did not display the normal symptoms.

The Nathan Rice Family
Nathan, Jessica, Anna, and Ellie attended their new ward on Sunday, and love it already! Anna made a new friend too. Sunday was spent celebrating Papa Ron's birthday. Their appraisal for their new home came in good, so onward to more papers to sign. Jessica also had a good doctors appointment.
The rest of the week was full of paperwork, questions, preparing, packing up, lots of overtime, laundry, and just waiting to get into their new home.

Dad's Garden
Tomatoes are being harvested, though not as many.

Other highlights
My Tuesday jog included two owls, one on each street I ran on, chatting with each other. The mornings this week were cool and beautiful, and we even had rain on Tuesday morning.

Dad headed out to Utah Wednesday morning for a business trip.

Dad substituted at New River School on Monday.

Pool was diagnosed with a bad case of yellow algae. Lots of chlorine and brushing were the treatment.

Took Nano for bloodwork on Tuesday morning and got more of her savings in order, as well as clariflying physician information on Humana.

Dad and I visited with our moms for Mother's Day on Saturday. Dad took Chinese food to Grandma and then ate with her and Uncle Loyd at his care facility. I drove to Nano's place with a card and a corsage and visited with her.
