Week of December 4 - December 10, 2022

Spiritual
Sunday was very nice. We enjoyed a wonderful and very spiritual Fast and Testimony Meeting. My class went very well as I based most of my instruction on scriptures found in Nahum and Habakkuk.

We were able to attend the temple this week. I performed initiatory ordinances on Tuesday and Dad attended his regular Thursday Endowment session.

My daily morning foundation of General Conference talk(s), prayer, scripture study and Come Follow Me study continues each day.

I have indexed 43,635 records and reviewed 80,675 records so far this year.

Family

The Wilkins Family
The Wilkins family are going through challenges as Amazon had planned force reductions and Mike was reduced. He is seeking work now and we are praying for a new and even better job. Allison had a rough week with many assignments due and tests both for her second graders and for her master's degree program. Grace's week was full of performances. We felt so blessed to be able to see some of her singing via Marco Polo.

Joshua is doing very well at school and enjoys his new friends this year and Sam is as sweet and happy as ever could be!

The Ethan Rice Family
Ethan traveled to Allentown Pennsylvania for work this week. For the rest, it was a typical holiday school week with class and fun. We spoke to them on Saturday briefly as they ran out the door to a birthday party for Wade's friend.

The Doran Rice Family
Doran, Amber, Kelsie and Kooper are doing well and are busy at work and school.

Morgan
No news from Morgan this week.

Kayty
Kayty had a pretty good work week this week and enjoyed a work holiday meal on Wednesday.

The Nathan Rice Family
The girls got to go see Santa in their lovely new blue Christmas Dresses and were so excited! Nathan has been working many long hours to complete a project for a customer. He also baked some amazing cookies. Ellie took a fall on Friday which gave everyone a scare but she seems to be well and no concussion was involved. They have enlisted a realtor in Arkansas to find them a home. We got to play with the older girls on Saturday as Nathan completed working on his car.

Dad's Garden
We are eating lettuce, chard and radishes in our meals. He is preparing for his Spring tomato seed start on Monday.

Family History Nano Slides

At Disneyland. In fact, the last time I was at Disneyland.

Other highlights
My Monday morning jog was amazing. It was foggy and so very very quiet. It was beautiful!

I visited Mom on Thursday. She doesn't know me at all now but we pleasantly chatted and watched some television.

We attended a party Saturday night for the group Dad volunteers for and had a lovely meal and some nice visiting.
