Week of May 9 - 15, 2021

Highlights:

Spiritual
Sunday was very nice at church. We enjoyed two wonderful talks on General Conference addresses. I headed home after Sacrament Meeting since masks are required in Relief Society and Dad was able to attend Elder's Quorum and I picked him up after he was done.

Temple remains open for limited us but we are not permitted to attend yet.

My daily morning foundation of General Conference talk(s), prayer, scripture study and Come Follow Me study continues each day.

I have indexed 6798 records and reviewed 51342 records so far this year.

Family

The Wilkins Family
Mother's Day was a busy one for the Wilkins Family. Allison Marco Polo'd me at 1 am while she was doing finishing laundry. This week coming up is crazy. Almost three weeks left of school for the Wilkins kids! Adam gets to attend school four days a week starting this week. He also got a job and will be a cook at Cowabunga Bay starting Saturday. Soccer practices, dental appointments, seminary exams, work, school, Young Men and Young Women temple trip. They start two hour church next week.
Adam fell and hurt his knee of Friday but seems to be doing better. Josh had great soccer games last week, after a couple of weeks of break. Grace and Josh attended a fun youth activity and speaker...and a dance afterwards. Sam still loves school and his teacher and is enjoying reading Harry Potter with the family.Mike continues to interview for jobs, including one here at St. Marys Food Bank as a warehouse manager. They are still waiting to list their home. The realtor has not returned the call yet.

The Ethan Rice Family
Ethan and Cameo had a good weekend celebrating Mother's Day with yummy steaks for dinner.

No travel for Ethan this week. Final baseball practices and game for Wade this week too. He showed us the trophy he got and he was very happy about it. All is well 2nd grade is nearling a close for Kaylee.

The Doran Rice Family
Busy but good week for this family.

Morgan
No news from Morgan this week.

Kayty
Kayty worked overtime all week but is doing well.

The Nathan Rice Family
We visited Nathan and Jessica and the girls on Sunday and had a wonderful visit. Their garden looks so lovely, full of huge tomatoes and such pretty flowers. We also got the news that they will be adding another baby to their family in late December! Such a great surprise!!

Dad's Garden
We are picking tomatoes every day. We also are fighting rabbits eating our tomatoes every day.

Family History

From my dad's things...

Other highlights
I started painting all the living room shelf frames gold today. Just a few a day. Its a simple and nice change. I also pinned and hemmed the curtains. The curtains that used to be there are now being put up in the family room. While I liked looking at the yard, I do also like some level of privacy.

I canned 14 quarts of tomatoes on Tuesday and five pints of applesauce on Saturday.

We got a lot of stuff hauled out to the quarterly pick up pile and I trimmed so tree branches that were bugging me and hauled them out.

I had a good visit with Nano last week for Mothers Day and she didn't get upset about it this week, which is a good win!
