Week of May 23 - 29, 2021

Highlights:

Spiritual
We had a lovely Sunday. I helped in Junior Primary. After church, Brother Scott Mortensen from the bishopric called me to serve as a primary worker and I gladly accepted.

Temple remains open for limited us but we are not permitted to attend yet.

My daily morning foundation of General Conference talk(s), prayer, scripture study and Come Follow Me study continues each day.

I have indexed 7296 records and reviewed 54,945 records so far this year.

Family

The Wilkins Family
Happy 20th Anniversary to the Wilkins Family on May 25. They had a very busy week, with school finals, orthodontist appointments, final school assignments turned in and work for both Mike and Allison. They held a special graduate parade at Adam's school. Mike decorated the car and they drove through the streets with cheering parents and teachers. We felt so blessed to be able to view Adam's graduation by website. We cheered loudly here as he walked across the stage. We are so proud of you, Adam!

Grace is doing well. She so enjoys her braces being off and is looking forward to a good Summer, though she is sad her favorite babysitting family is moving away. Josh had fun soccer practices and is finishing up school now. Sam got to do fun things at school as they wind down the year too.

The Ethan Rice Family
This was a good week for this family. Ethan had a brief trip to Pennsylvania on Wednesday. Wednesday was also Kaylee's last day of school.

The Doran Rice Family
Doran and Amber had another busy work week as school remotely ended for Kelsie and Kooper. Kelsie is off to high school next year!

Morgan
No news from Morgan this week.

Kayty
Kayty enjoyed her zoo overnight adventure.

Sadly, this week her fish, Bernard, died.

Now, she has a new orchid beta named Blaze.

The Nathan Rice Family
Nathan and Jessica had a busy week with work and taking the girls to the water park. Their garden is doing well and the girls pick tomatoes every day. They sure do love their kitties and playing outdoors.

Ellie helped make a new step stool to wash hands int he kitchen.

Dad's Garden
We continue to pick tomatoes daily, though only new cherry tomatoes are coming on. We have some basil but need some new plants. Chicks are growing up well.

Family History
My Grandfather, William Arthur Kew's World War 2 Draft card

Other highlights
Jog was pretty interesting as I stopped along the way noting the lunar eclipse.
