Week of May 22-28, 2022

Spiritual
Sunday was good and we had a very good Sacrament Meeting with a young sister speaking before she leaves on her mission. Dad spoke in a later Sacrament Meeting with the high Counselman.

The temple remains closed for maintenance.

My daily morning foundation of General Conference talk(s), prayer, scripture study and Come Follow Me study continues each day. I completed my third time through General Conference talks and began my fourth time through.

I have indexed 23,643 records and reviewed 49,960 records so far this year.

Family

The Wilkins Family
Last days of school for the Wilkins kids this week. All are doing well. Summer school begins soon.

The Ethan Rice Family
This was moving week for Ethan and Cameo. They signed the papers on their new home on Tuesday and proceeded to move their belongings from their storage unit and their former next-door neighbor's house to their new home further north. Kaylee and Wade called and took me on a brief empty home tour and managed to introduce me to two darling toads that lived on their property. The last day of School for both was Friday and Cameo is busy enrolling them in their new school for next year. Summer has begun.

The Doran Rice Family
Doran, Amber, and the kids are well and very busy. School is out for them too and Summer has begun.

Morgan
No news from Morgan this week.

Kayty
Kayty took some days off work to clean out things and reorganize stuff in her room, plus she spent hours at the car dealership getting her transmission flushed and her serpentine belt changed.

One major save this week.

The Nathan Rice Family
Annie graduated from Kindergarten on Monday morning. Such an exciting day!!

And these pics I took from the facebook live video.

Dad's Garden
Dad's garden is winding down. The last few tomatoes are picked and he cut the basil way back to encourage new growth, we hope.

Week of May 15-21, 2022

Spiritual
Sunday was ward conference. Our bishop and stake president gave wonderful talks and the choir sounded awesome. Primary was a fiasco as usual. I had prepped grapes for the kids to eat as we watched a video, but I didn't have the wifi password for Kayty's iPad and so I couldn't use the video and it went downhill from there. Dad enjoyed Stake Priesthood Meeting in the afternoon and we spent the rest of the night studying and in quiet.

Phoenix Temple is closed for routine maintenance this week and next week.

My daily morning foundation of General Conference talk(s), prayer, scripture study and Come Follow Me study continues each day.

I have indexed 22,437 records and reviewed 46,482 records so far this year.

Family

The Wilkins Family
The Wilkins Family is doing well. Allison has worked out some work at the school during summer school. She is doing well at work and got a raise and will be a permanent substitute teacher starting in August. She is working on another certification to evaluate children who might have autism and will begin schooling at Western Governors University for a Master's Degree in Social work. Mike continues to be busy and doing well at work. Adam is nearing a certification evaluation that will open up more opportunities for work at dealerships. He has worked on his car and is near ready for inspections. Grace is busy busy busy with school and church responsibilities. Josh continues to do well at school and loves skating and doing Pokemon go. And Sam is happy and looking forward to Saturday...his very special day.

And now I share pictures from the baptism of Samuel Ethan Wilkins.

The Ethan Rice Family
Last Saturday, the kids celebrated the end of their ball seasons with parties and trophies. They had such a good time and learned so much!!

Plenty of fun activities at school including a special lunch and field day.

And Kaylee lost yet another tooth!
Here are some pics cameo shared on Saturday night of their busy month of May, including baseball, parties, Mother's Day, preparing to move into the new house, etc.

The Doran Rice Family
I was able to visit with Kelsie as she got sick at school and needed a ride home. She is excited to attend a new high school next year.

Morgan
No news from Morgan this week.

Kayty
Kayty had a good week working from home and on site. She shared her car with us as we drove to and from Vegas for Sam's baptism.

One major save this week.

The Nathan Rice Family
Happy Anniversary to this family on May 17th.
Nathan, Jessica and family are doing well, though a little sickness with colds and coughs plagued them. Jessica called it the last gift from kindergarten. They were able to head out to eat on Friday. Nathan created a pretty awesome cake for his nephew Wyatt but it was put into the freezer due to illness in their family.

Dad's Garden
The tomatoes are waning now and Dad picked most of the final citrus for the year to take to Vegas. Used the abundant oregano in our cooking this week too.

Other highlights
On Sunday evening, we witnessed some of the Blood Moon lunar eclipse. I say some because we saw the beginning, and then clouds came in. It seems clouds are only present when we want to witness a lunar eclipse or a meteor shower.
