Weeks of January 17 - 26, 2019

Highlights:

I left Thursday the 17th to fly to Atlanta to care for Kaylee and Wade while Ethan and Cameo went on a Bahamas Cruise. I was busier than all get out, and have done my best to compile what happened while I was away.

Spiritual
With cold weather and two very unhappy kiddos, my Sunday was spent at home. I did enjoy studying the Come Follow Me lesson for the week via my ipad. It was so much easier to study!

While I was away, the family attended church and had a good Sunday. Dad attended the temple every single night it was open.

I didn't do any indexing since I only had my ipad but I was able to review about 20 records. I read my Book of Mormon every day and was strengthened by the words I read.

Family

The Wilkins Family
Wilkins family days were good. On the Monday off school, they went and had some fun while Adam went to a movie with some friends.

On a fun day at the park waiting for Grace to finish at school, Sam and Josh found these

They decided to paint their own rocks and do some hiding themselves.
Adam has been getting many of these, to Allison's dismay...

The Ethan Rice Family
On Thursday, I traveled to visit Ethan, Cameo, Kaylee and Wadey.
Ethan retrieved me from the airport and I arrived at their house to meet Wade and Ruger. They hadn't told Kaylee I was coming, so I was driving when we picked her up from school that day. What a surpise for her!

I will just give you some highlights and then share the pics. I played with the kids, ate out with Elder Moore and his companion and our family, played with kids, met Aimee and Emileigh (Aimee is absolutely wonderful and so is Emileigh), tried to keep up with the busy needs of these two kids that their parents masterfully do, froze nearly every day (Georgia cold is COLD), went with them to the dentist, ate at my first Chick Fil A, and had a good time. I even navigated the crazy huge Atlanta airport.

While I was there, here are pics from their cruise

We were blessed with good health, and only a minor mishap when a can fell on Kaylee's toe. I flew home and they spent the rest of their weekend laundering and resting.

The Doran Rice Family
This family did well, went target shooting on one Saturday. Kelsie called me in Georgia on Friday night letting me know she and the youth from her ward were at the temple. I called Dad and he was able to go over and help.

The next poor Kooper got stung by a bee.

Morgan
Morgan and Aimee are doing well and busy working and playing.

Kayty
Kayty did well while I was away. I received a message with a pic of a letter offering her a permanent job!!! So many prayers were answered!!!! She officially begins February 11th, and there will be no more unpaid holidays!!

She received this for a birthday gift.

The Nathan Rice Family
Nathan and Jessica also went target shooting on Saturday...pics to follow. Nathan started his new job on Monday and shared this.
"Over 4 years ago I decided I wanted to be a mechanical engineer at Honeywell to design airplane components and today was my first day of work at Honeywell Aerospace doing just that. I feel very blessed that I have wonderful wife and children that supported me through school and parents who prayed for me everyday and who helped me get my dream job, and a Heavenly Father who has answered thousands of prayers along the way."
He loves work! Family did well and had a good week.

Dad's Garden
Dad's garden is going crazy!! He even found out the chickens had resumed laying eggs...

I apologize for the haphazard post. I got home at 7 pm, unpacked and laundered my last load, and am trying to catch up.
