Week of March 24 - March 30, 2024

Spiritual
We had a very good Sunday session of stake conference! The opening prayer was by a lovely primary child. The talks: a primary child (once in my class), a youth and a single adult. The music: one choir number and one song by all the youth present in the stake. Just a great meeting! Quiet day for the rest of Sunday, talking with Annie, Ellie, Emma, Allison, Grace, Josh and Sam.

My daily morning foundation of General Conference talk(s), prayer, scripture study and Come Follow Me study continues each day.

I have indexed 13,075 records and reviewed 9430 records so far this year.

Family

The Wilkins Family
The Wilkins Family is doing well and working hard. Grace got her senior pictures taken and is counting the days till school ends. Josh had a great soccer game and is doing well. Sam is so enjoying Pep Band and loves playing his baritone. Mike is doing great at work. Allison interviewed for a head teacher responsibility. Adam is doing well at work too.
Grace shared her testimony of prayer:
Throughout Jesus’s life, especially in the last week, prayer was such an important piece of the story. He prays for His disciples and He tells His disciples to pray for themselves as well. He knew that He would have to leave His disciples, so He let them know that they can talk to Heavenly Father and the importance of prayer. He encouraged them to ask Heavenly Father for help and the things that they need to make it through challenges. He told them that they would never be alone if they turned to their Father in Heaven.
I have a strong testimony of prayer. I know that prayer is a way to talk to Heavenly Father and He loves it when we talk to Him. I know that when we ask Heavenly Father for things that we need, He always has an answer. Although it might seem like He doesn’t answer or He deserts you at times, there have been times I have felt like that, I know He is listening and has an answer, it just might not be time to hear it yet. Heavenly Father has a plan for you and whatever challenges you are going through, Heavenly Father is there to help. He is waiting for us to ask and He will jump in with whatever He knows you need, even if it is different than what you think might be what you need.💙💙
