Week of January 6-12, 2019

Highlights:

Spiritual
A new year, a new time, a new schedule and shortened meetings led for a bit of what seemed to me to be craziness. Sacrament Meeting and the testimonies were inspiring, but it felt a bit rushed. Sunday School was crazy, and the room was absolutely PACKED! I recognized every single person there, but I have NEVER seen the Relief Society Room so crammed full during Sunday School. (Our building houses two very large wards and our good sized ward, plus it is the Stake Center, and with meetings closer together, there is no available classroom space.)

I attended a session at the temple on Tuesday morning. There have been updates to the Endowment Ceremony. I learned so much, and I left the temple feeling so valued and loved by my Heavenly Father, more than ever before. Dad attended a Thursday evening session.

Cub scouts went well, though my co leader is asking to be released due to health problems. We have been a team for three years, and friends for a long long time. I was very discouraged at the news, though I absolutely understand and want her to be able to have full health.

I got letters off to my inmate sister Jessica as well as a ministering sister, Tracey this week.

I continue listening to a General Conference Talk, preparing for church lessons, and reading deliberately in the Book of Mormon. This week, I pondered charity and all that loving as Jesus Christ loves intails.

I have indexed 1382 records and reviewed 1196 records so far this year.

Family

The Wilkins Family
The Wilkins family had a good week. They completed their New Year's Puzzle and really enjoyed doing it.
Back to school week went well. Josh was able to attend a great birthday party on Saturday.

The Ethan Rice Family
Happy Birthday, Cameo on Monday. The family celebrated with Elder Moore, giving him a final mission field birthday party.

During Grampy's visit, he and Ethan were able to accomplish a lot of framing in the basement, so it can eventually become a room. School started on Tuesday and the schedule was back to normal. Kaylee's hoverboard skills have been passed on to Wadey and he is now quite expert at riding...after Kaylee is asleep.

The Doran Rice Family
Kooper lost his first tooth...and it literally was the first tooth he had: born with it!
Koopers birthday celebration was held on Saturday. What a super Spiderman party it was!! Doran and Amber did so much to make it a wonderful time. Here are some of the pics...

It was a great day!
Morgan
Morgan, Aimee and Emileigh are doing well and have had a good and busy week.

Kayty
Kayty worked and watched Criminal Minds.

Two minor saves this week.

The Nathan Rice Family
Nathan, Jessica and girls had a very full and fun week. There were visits to Grammy Lorie and Papa Ron, playing with their new miniature ponies, visiting Grampa Bob, trips to Cabelas and Nano's old house to get a table and chairs, helping Uncle Josh and Aunt CeeCee move, yummy meals we had prepared for us, including bulgogi, lots of swinging, playing in the sand and climbing.

They spent Friday shopping with Jessica, Papa Ron and Grammy Lorrie for their new countertops and had a blast at Ikea! Saturday was Kooper's awesome party. They had an apartment set back Saturday, so they will be busy next week trying to figure that out. It will be Nathan's last week off work.

Dad's Garden

Doing very well!

Other highlights
Dad went on a business trip Thursday to Prescott and was blessed to rent a Mustang Convertible.

Nano shopping took a long time, with a trip to a further away WalMart and a trip to the doctor for an injection.
