Week of September 10 - September 16, 2023

Spiritual
Dad spoke in another ward and did very well. We had high council Sunday in our ward and it was okay as usual. Many new people were called to serve in Primary and I now have a sister to serve with. I am hoping it will go well.

Dad attended a session at the temple on Thursday evening.

My daily morning foundation of General Conference talk(s), prayer, scripture study, and Come Follow Me study continues each day.

I have indexed 12,932 records and reviewed 19,936 records so far this year.

Family

The Wilkins Family
Wilkins Family is doing well. Grace received an acceptance letter to UNLV and she is so excited. Congratulations, Grace! Josh had his foot checked at the doctor to see how his bone is healing.

The Ethan Rice Family
Ethan and Cameo had a busy week, working, and getting kids to lacrosse and softball practices and games. School pictures too!

They prepared for their visit and flew out to Phoenix late Saturday night.

The Doran Rice Family
This family had a good week at work and school.

Morgan
Morgan and Cassie completed all the work they have done for months this summer and are readying to head back to Flagstaff. Morgan has a job starting on Monday. They are looking forward to cooler weather.

Kayty
Kayty had a very busy work week. Plus she is getting more successful at Poshmark Shows and selling her bracelets.

The Nathan Rice Family
Arrangements have been made for those of us far away to witness Annie's baptism in October via Zoom and we were over the moon happy. Annie is so happy to be able to get baptized. I Facetimed with Ellie and Emma for a bit on Friday. They are doing great and have some fun plans with family coming up. Plus Saturday was the day to celebrate Annie's 8th birthday! They had a day that started with doughnuts, including water play and games, and then a trip to Sonic.

Dad's Garden
Seedlings are starting to grow.

Other highlights
Solar Panel install/reinstall has proven to be the toughest part of this project. Incorrect color of tar paper, too short wires, no connectors have been part of the plethora of troubles.

We were notified that our roof passed the insurance company approval so we continue to have homeowners insurance...over $30,000.00 to achieve that.

Wonderful late evening storm complete with hail tested our roof on Tuesday...and it passed. And the heat of summer hopefully is finally ended.
