Week of March 31 - April 6, 2024

Spiritual
Easter Sunday was rainy here this year. Church was absolutely inspiring. The primary children sang beautifully. The talks, by Joanna and Grant Call, were pure testimony of Jesus Christ. They leave for their church service mission to Kirtland this week. The choir sang and the music was heavenly. Such a wonderful way to celebrate the life and resurrection of Jesus Christ. I made a couple of devilled eggs to continue the last Easter Tradition we carry on. The rest of the day was quiet.

My daily morning foundation of General Conference talk(s), prayer, scripture study and Come Follow Me study continues each day.

I have indexed 15,152 records and reviewed 10,375 records so far this year.

The Ethan Rice Family
Easter Sunday Morning: Easter Baskets, treats (the Easter Bunny even brought Dad some Reeses Pieces), traditional carrot cake, church, a wonderful meal and enjoying the weather outdoors as the kids played.

On Monday, Papa played with the kids, took them nearby on gold panning adventures and kept them busy while Ethan and Cameo worked.

More gold panning

It was a wonderful week and papa was very sad to go!!

Note before publishing: Dad had a long travel day home. Kayty and I were leaving the freeway to enter the airport when dad called to tell us they had landed...in Tucson! Apparently a runway had closed and his plane had circled until it was low on fuel and had to go to Tucson. Over an hour later, refuelled, his plane arrived. We came home and went right to bed.

The Doran Rice Family
No news from Doran and Amber this week.

Morgan
No news from Morgan this week.

Kayty
Kayty got really sick very early Monday morning...thought it might be food poisoning. It was good she took the day off Monday so no work problems, but she spent the day mainly on the couch. Then I got sick Wednesday so no food poisoning. She got better faster than I did which was such a blessing. She dressed up as Kim Possible for Disney Day at work on Wednesday.

Had half day of work and then a picnic on Friday.

The Nathan Rice Family
Nathan and Jessica have been busy packing up the house. The girls called on Friday night, very excited about Ellie and Emma's tball games upcoming on Saturday.

Dad's Garden
I have worked all week to keep the garden alive and the weeds unalive.
