Week of March 10 - 16, 2019

Highlights:

Spiritual
Sunday was very good. We were blessed to hear a sister report as she returned from her mission to Sweden. Her family had moved away a few months ago, but all returned so she could share with us. All the Elder's Quorum members sang "Ye Elders of Israel", my favorite hymn, and it sounded awesome. I helped in a primary class with Siser Jody Barton. Dad instructed the Deacons Quorum.

I attended an endowment session at the temple on Tuesday morning.

Scouts for me, while we are blessed with fewer boys and another great leader, was a great struggle. The boys were quite wiggly and giggly, and the other leaders worked their hardest while I shared the information for the night. Dad attended a Youth Fireside on Wednesday night on Bullying.

I have indexed 6828 records and reviewed 8415 records so far this year.

Family

The Wilkins Family
The Wilkins family is well and working hard at school and work. I am not able to be on the internet very frequently so I may have missed things on Instagram, and for that I am sorry.

The Ethan Rice Family
A picture from Ethan and Kaylee's Daddy Daughter Dance...
They are well and busy.

The Doran Rice Family
Doran, Amber and family are doing well and are busy. The kids were on Spring Break this week and enjoyed time at home with Amber and with visits from Nathan's family.

Morgan
Morgan, Aimee and Emileigh are well and busy with school and work.

Kayty
Kayty had a good work week and continued to downsize and clean up stuff in her room. She got a new smaller rug, and bought her first vacuum cleaner.

The Nathan Rice Family
Nathan, Jessica and family had a good week. Sunday started with stuffy noses, but they all felt better in a few days. The week was filled with house touring, a visit to Amber, Kelsie, Kooper and 'Todd" the dog, work and play.

Dad's Garden
Garden is till producing oodles of snow peas and quite a few tomatoes. We picked some very large carrots and dad had some great salads with his spinach and turnips. The newer plants are doing well too.

Not so highlights
We were sad to learn that after weeks of interviews, Dad was eliminated from the running for an excellent job promotion. It has happened many many times in the past, and while sad, we are glad he still has a job. We are not certain of the future of his position, due to constant changes, but we trust that all will work out.
