Week of May 29-June 4, 2022

Spiritual
We had another great Sunday. A sister in our ward spoke before going on her mission in South America. Primary went pretty well and we had a pretty quiet day with a visit from Nathan, Jessica and family.

We were able to get appointments to attend the temple this week. I attended a session on Tuesday morning...a bit later than my normal one, and it worked out very well. Dad attended a Thursday evening session.

My daily morning foundation of General Conference talk(s), prayer, scripture study and Come Follow Me study continues each day.

I have indexed 24,991 records and reviewed 53,303 records so far this year.

Family

The Wilkins Family
Happy Birthday Mike on Tuesday. It looked like he had a wonderful day and a yummy banana cream cheesecake for his birthday treat. They are busy and had a good week before returning to summer school next week.

The Ethan Rice Family
Kaylee received a great honor at her school. Cameo shared this:
"Kaylee received a special recognition award on 5/25 from her school. She was the Top Titan for the entire year! The Top Titan is awarded to two students from each homeroom who have modeled positive behavior, responsibility, respect, and perseverance, continually, in all areas of the school including the classroom, specials, cafeteria, playground, and hallway. We are so proud of her and all she has accomplished this year"

The Doran Rice Family
Doran and Amber and the kids stopped by on Monday. Doran wanted his recurve bow from his childhood so he picked it up to share with Kooper.
It was a pretty rough week with Kelsie so prayers are appreciated.

Morgan
No news from Morgan this week.

Kayty
Kayty completed her bedroom clean up for this phase and returned to work, both from home and on site. She is doing well.

The Nathan Rice Family
Nathan and Jessica are doing well and spent the week preparing for Emma's birthday party. The kids are so enjoying Summer off from school. They practiced swimming here on Wednesday during piano lessons and enjoyed having Kooper over for the day on Friday. They had a play date and then came out here, ate lunch, built with legos and played with playdough. Eve is working so hard and will be crawling very very soon.
Saturday evening, we celebrated Emma's Third Birthday with an Orange and Yellow Celebration. Water slide, dinner of corn dogs, mac and cheese, cantaloupe and cheese its, and a yummy cake created by Nathan.

The only day we could wear pants all year was Western Day when there was a Rodeo Parade.

Dad and Baby Scott Kew
Dad's Garden
Heat is here and things are in a slow season.

Other highlights
I actually got into the pool and swam a bit on Friday night. Still a bit cold for me, but it was nice and the water was no longer bitter. Pool draining and refilling worked!
