Let Sleeping Squirrels Lie

School was out...no football practice...Dee had vacation days to burn...so, they decided to go squirrel hunting. They drove up to the Mogollon Rim, found a camping site, and set out on their quest.

It was cold...very cold...even for Arizona. Everything froze...their water...their food. Dee even complained...a bit...and he is NEVER cold.

Nate complained...a lot.

They stopped and shot at targets...clean up any mess...and hunted some more.

Problem was...no squirrels! They were "nestled snug in their beds"...hibernating... (Well, they did see one...apparently a procrastinator...Just like Nathan!)

So, they had fun, being together, walking on icy ponds, of course, throwing rocks in said icy ponds. But, the squirrels won this one! Someone needs to inform the Arizona Game and Fish Department that it does no good to create the longer squirrel season...no one is awake!
