Week of October 17-October 23, 2021

Highlights:

Spiritual
Sunday was Stake Conference. Being that we had a family pizza dinner planned, I stayed home to mind the pizza oven while dad attended. No online broadcast was available. Dad really enjoyed the conference and took many notes.

We were able to get appointments to attend the temple this week. When I first was able to return to the temple after the closure, I had four sisters in my packet that had baptismal ordinances performed right before the shutdown, and now needed the rest of their ordinances. My favorite temple worker was with me when the initiatory ordinances were performed and she noticed these sisters, and I felt so strongly that their mother wanted her children sealed to her. Weeks of work continued. Then another, and another sister were in Dad's reserved file. I was nearly done with the sisters when I found this mother had not had her work done yet, though she was sealed to her husband in 2005. I completed those and this week, we went to seal these six daughters and one son to their parents. It was such a spiritual experience as these ordinances were performed. Dad also attended an endowment session on Tuesday evening.

My daily morning foundation of General Conference talk(s), prayer, scripture study and Come Follow Me study continues each day.

I have indexed 18,563 records and reviewed 99,267 records so far this year.

Family

The Wilkins Family
The Wilkins family had a very busy week.

The Ethan Rice Family
Cameo returned from Phoenix on Monday, and Ethan flew to Pennsylvania on Tuesday for the week.
Kids painted pumpkins and shared at school.

Here is Ethan and Cameo at Oktoberfest

The Doran Rice Family
This family had a very busy week. One of those tougher ones.

Morgan
Morgan is doing well.

Kayty
Kayty had a good work week and got a little overtime.

The Nathan Rice Family
Nathan had a good week. He has a few job interviews lined up and hopes to be able to select the best fit for his family. They attended the temple on Tuesday evening and the girls played here. We made paper plate bats and played with playdough. Soccer practice and game went well and Nathan helped at Market on the Move Saturday and worked on making a router table.

Dad's Garden
Dad was on vacation this week, so lots of gardening was done. Lots of plants planted and transplanted, garden beds cared for and covered from bird and chicken attack.
