Week of October 2 - 8, 2022

Spiritual
We so enjoyed General Conference on Sunday. I always love talks given by Jeffrey R Holland and David A Bednar. Dad made some Conference Sushi too. Nathan, Jessica, and the girls came by when conference was over.

We were able to attend the temple this week to perform sealing ordinances on Tuesday and Dad attended an endowment session on Wednesday.

My daily morning foundation of General Conference talk(s), prayer, scripture study and Come Follow Me study continues each day.

I have indexed 38,347 records and reviewed 73,569 records so far this year.

Family

The Wilkins Family
The Wilkins family enjoyed Conference weekend with cinnamon rolls, a puzzle and family time. The weeks are filled with work and school and all the things that go with that.

The Ethan Rice Family
Ethan and Cameo and the kids had a good work and school week. Wade was awarded for his kindness to others.

Then after school Thursday when they flew to Arizona! They stayed with us Thursday night after their late arrival into Phoenix. We had a fun morning of swimming, playing on the playground and picnicking while Cameo got everything ready.

Then later on Friday they headed up to Flagstaff for Aunt Jadey's wedding. The rehearsals were on Friday and the wedding was on Saturday.

The Doran Rice Family
Amber and the kids returned from Ohio early Sunday morning. The week went as busy as usual except for lots of homework to make up for the kids. They are doing well.

Morgan
No news from Morgan this week.

Kayty
Kayty had a good week at work and at home.

One minor save this week.

The Nathan Rice Family
Nathan and Jessica and the girls had a busy week. Home schooling is going very well and Jessica was able to schedule some play dates. Nathan was busy both at work and on cleaning up the yard. He was able to go to the dump this week and was also able to sell a load of firewood to a gentlman who sells it in our neighborhood. The girls ate and watched a halloween movie on Friday evening while Nate and Jessica had a date night. Saturday was Soccer Day and we were able to attend Ellie's game Saturday morning.

Dad's Garden
Dad took the week off work and focused on his gardens. Many seeds were planted and replanted. We are having a cricket problem. Things are starting to come up.

Other highlights
It was an interesting Monday evening. Dad noticed a dust storm north of us. I was not concerned and assumed it would just travel west to east. Boy was I wrong! For three hours we were pummeled with the worst wind I have seen. Dad was on the roof gluing down shingles that were coming up. One neighbor near us had his back yard block fence blow over. Many large trees were taken down. It was crazy. and the pool!!! It took days for Dad to get the dust out. We also had some rain on Thursday evening.
