Week of September 25 - October 1, 2022

Spiritual
We had a very good Fast and Testimony meeting. Primary lesson went well and I was glad Dad came into primary to give out some candy, since I received a text from my partner teacher that she forgot to let me know she is in Utah. It was okay since I had the lesson...just a surprise. We also enjoyed watching all three Saturday sessions of General Conference.

We were able to attend the temple this week. I did Initiatory ordinances on Tuesday and Dad did endowment ordinance on Wednesday.

My daily morning foundation of General Conference talk(s), prayer, scripture study and Come Follow Me study continues each day.

I have indexed 37,380 records and reviewed 72,556 records so far this year.

Family

The Wilkins Family
The Wilkins Family continues to be busy and do well. While Mom and Dad keep up with busy work and church schedules, the kids that are in school are very busy. Grace had a choir concert at school she participated in, plus there were the normal tennis, young men and women, and seminary activities.

The Ethan Rice Family
There was a little time for a Fall Break Camping trip for this family.

Ethan traveled for work to Pennsylvania this week and the kids returned to school .

The Doran Rice Family
Amber's grandmother was near death and so she and the kids traveled to Ohio while Doran worked and kept things going at home.

We enjoyed a quick visit from Doran on Saturday too.

Morgan
No news from Morgan this week.

Kayty
Kayty had a good work week. It was a company anniversary celebration and she was able to dress up when she was on site Thursday and Friday. Thursday was 80's dress up.

The Nathan Rice Family
Nathan was presented with an offer for a job in Arkansas. While they attended the temple to ponder and pray on Tuesday the four girls played here and ate chicken nuggets. Their week went well and Saturday was full of fun soccer games.

Dad's Garden
Dad completed his bird and varmint cover for the garden, but then discovered hundreds of crickets are feasting on his seedlings. It just never stops! So he old fashioned fly swatted them the first night.

Other highlights
Dad had a great dental appointment this week: no cavities. He can get Medicare when he retires and so we will pay extra for his insurance. When he retires I will have no dental insurance so we will decide what to do then.
