Week of October 9 - 15, 2022

Spiritual
We had a wonderful Sacrament Meeting as we heard a sister missionary ready to leave on her mission and an Elder who had just returned after his two years of service. Primary went okay. On Saturday, Dad attended a Stake Conference Leadership meeting and we both attended the adult session.

Dee was able to attend the temple this week on Thursday evening.

My daily morning foundation of General Conference talk(s), prayer, scripture study and Come Follow Me study continues each day. I completed reading all the conference talks Saturday.

I have indexed 38,727 records and reviewed 74,160 records so far this year.

Family

The Wilkins Family
The Wilkins family is busy with work and school and are doing well.

The Ethan Rice Family
Monday was a travel day for this family but we got to play hide and seek and swim before they headed to the airport at noon. Tuesday was a back to normal day with the kids at school and Ethan flying out to Pennsylvania for the week.

On Friday, Kaylee dressed to celebrate the 50th Day of School.
And some pics from the wedding...

The Doran Rice Family
Doran, Amber, Kelsie and Kooper are well and busy with school and work. They celebrated their tenth wedding anniversary this week. Happy Anniversary on 10-11-22!!

Morgan
No news from Morgan

Kayty
Kayty had a good week. She found out she will be returning to work four days a week on site in November.

The Nathan Rice Family
This was a busy week for this family. Nathan spread tons of manure in his yard to protect grass seed. He is doing a lot to get that house ready to sell. He was blessed to get a good price for some of his woodworking equipment too. Ellie took a severe tumble Wednesday evening and after a night of headache and vomitting was taken to Banner Children's Hospital. All was well, thankfully.

Dad's Garden
Dad's poor garden is suffering from garden pests. Crickets, quail, mice and roof rats are nabbing his young plants. So this week a lot of money was spent trying to get all those things gone without using chemicals on the plants themselves.

Family History - Nano Slides Somewhat out of order
This is a group of our neighbor kids and us on 41st Drive

Easter at Tutu's house many years earlier. Sittin on the couch is my Nano: Irma Zelia Pratt Wolf Leiber and on the stool is my uncle John Hart. If you look really close next to Nano, you can see the wonderful yellow dress shoes I picked out for Easter. I remember my dad taking me shoe shopping and picking out those shoes. I loved them. My mom was not so happy about them but managed to get a nice dress for me.

I sang in the childrens choir at First Baptist Church.

Other highlights
We had a wonderful Sunday Pizza get together with some of the in town family. The cousins here had such a good time, though we sure missed those living far away.

Wonderful rain storm all day Saturday.
