Rub Recipe

Basic Pork Rub

1/4 cup black pepper
1/4 cup paprika
3 Tablespoons sugar
2 Tablespoons salt
2 teaspoons dry mustard
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (the recipe I got said 2 teaspoons, but that seems a lot, even for my heat lover hubby and son!)

Mix in container and then sprinkle on meat and rub in. It is best if you can let it "marinate" for a few hours or overnight before you cook/smoke/grill the meat.
